Beautiful Glacier Get Away

What an amazingly beautiful and unique home. This home is charming and very comfortable. The hosts have thought of all the amenities you will need for a relaxing stay. The property grounds are amazing. We enjoyed evening walks and seeing the llamas and donkeys. The proximity to Glacier National Park is also a plus. The hosts are very attentive and have thought of everything to make your stay one you will not forget. We would highly recommend this property for your home away from home.

Storybook Stay

We absolutely loved our stay here! It was even more beautiful in person than in the photos. The house was beautifully decorated. It felt like you were in a magical storybook home wit the curving turret staircase, the beautiful hardwood floors, the whimsical decorations . And the cupola was amazing. Such a special place to sit and read and talk with my daughter. The grounds are beautiful and we loved to watch the wind blow the trees. Dave was a great host. The owners live right there and were available to help whenever an issue would arise. He was responsive and kind! It was such an lovely experience. We would love to a stay again!

Gorgeous, Luxurious Llama Haven

The pictures don't do this house and property justice. The workmanship in the house is beautiful. The hosts are incredibly friendly and give great advice about the area. It is a perfect place for a family or couple. The drive to Glacier National Park is manageable and Strawberry Lake Trail is right down the road. The quality of the items, such as linens and kitchen utensils, is top notch. We will definitely be staying here again the next time we visit Montana!

Spectacular!!!

We couldn't have been happier with our stay!! The gracious hospitality, beautiful home/decor, attention to detail along with the extra bonus of having access to the animals on the farm was amazing. The Gingham house is fantastically decorated and immaculate! Kim and Dave were so welcoming but not intrusive at all. We went for nightly walks to see the animals and our family will miss them! We visited Glacier National Park which was about 45 minutes away, the drive was gorgeous and we cannot wait to return to Montana. We would gladly stay here again! Thank you so much for everything!

Beautiful mountain ranch property

We stayed here for a music festival in Whitefish and were at first concerned that it would be too far from where we wanted to go. Not so! It was enough out of the way to feel peaceful and remote, but ideally situated to reach all the places on our list, such as Glacier NP, Flathead Lake, Jewel Basin hikes etc. The property is beautifully maintained. The house itself is spacious and has a well-stocked kitchen. Kim and Dave were excellent hosts. Highly recommend!

Perfect Vacation Home Base

Such a perfect location to enjoy Glacier National Park and surrounding area. 40 minutes to west glacier, 2H 45M from Many Glacier on the northeast side, 30 minutes from flathead lake. We enjoyed coming back to the property after a long day of hiking to walk the grounds. The kids snuggled with the llamas/alpacas and donkeys every morning and every night and were sad to leave them. We enjoyed walking the trail around the property every night and spotted deer and turkeys every time. Kim and Dave were extremely responsive and helpful; they let us use some bear spray for our hikes, had coolers and beach towels available for use - everything you could think of. My only regret is that I should have asked if they had any of these items so we didn’t bring extra luggage. Such a wonderful, magical place that is maintained like a resort. You won’t regret staying here and we greatly look forward to visiting again in the future.

Great location, quiet and serene. Loved the lamas and alpacas. You're about 15-20 min away from anything so come prepared to save your time. House was beautiful and the hosts were awesome. Jewel lake basin is worth the hike.

Beautiful Home & Property

The home and property is just as described if not better. The home is incredibly well-maintained with quality windows, furnishings and appliances. We couldn’t have been happier with this home and it only added to our westward adventures. This home could easily be used as a base site to explore Glacier National Park. I am very particular when it comes to cleanliness and this house can’t be beat! The property managers were accommodating and responsive to any questions. Do not hesitate to book this home. The llamas & alpacas were a great bonus!

They thought of everything!

We simply could not have been happier! The property was everything that was described, and more. It was extremely clean, and the spaciousness was very welcome after lots of time in the car and after cramped hotel rooms. The spiral staircase to the crow's nest was a feature that the kids loved. There were plenty of plates, silverware, glasses, and cookware. Kim and Dave were incredibly accommodating. We would see them as we explored the property or left for Glacier National Park or groceries and they always checked to make sure we had everything we needed (which we did!). They even invited us to come down in the evening and feed the llamas, which was really fun. This is a tremendous place to stay to explore great activities nearby, or just as great if you need a getaway and never leave the grounds!

Felt right at home at Plaid Swan Ranch

My family of 4 enjoyed our week+ stay immensely at this beautiful property. It's located right in the middle of everything we wanted to do. Boating on Flathead Lake, Alpine slides & ziplines at the Mountain Resort, souvenir shopping in Whitefish, white-water rafting down Flathead river, and (of course) hiking in Glacier NP. After active days, this completely renovated farm house on 60-acres was a lovely respite. The air con kept up beautifully - even during the 100-degree heat spell! None of the Glacier NP hotels currently have A/C, so we were especially grateful for that. The owners are on-site & very responsive, but not intrusive. The house was very well appointed & had everything we needed in the kitchen, plus both indoor & outdoor games. The biggest bonus was getting to know the sweet llamas and alpacas - we miss them already!
