This spacious holiday home includes 1 living room, 3 separate bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with a walk-in shower and free toiletries. This is our family home and is a detached bungalow, 8 miles outside Lerwick with stunning views of Stromness Voe. The house is set just off the main road in the beautiful central mainland of Shetland. There is a local grocery shop with offsales and butchers approximately half a mile from the house and a petrol station approx 1 mile north of the house. Whiteness is a quiet, beautiful residential area in the Central mainland and offers an Ideal base for exploring Shetland. It would be an advantage to have a car or vehicle to get around but there is a bus service which operates on the west mainland route. Shetland has so much to offer from wildlife, beautiful beaches and Haar Saunas, sporting facilities, cake fridges and some of the best coastal walks in the world.
We have recently taken this property back from the agent who has been looking to the house as we want to operate this ourselves. We have a good number of years experience in the tourist accommodation sector and hope to be able to offer you a lovely stay in our home and our beautiful islands.
There are numerous things to see and do and Whiteness is one of the most beautiful parts of Shetland. The house is detached and the area is really quiet.
