I originally reserved a Suite with 2 Queen Beds and Sleeper Sofa. When we arrived I was informed that since I had booked through a "secondary service", that that reservation was not guaranteed! What?!?! If Expedia cannot be trusted to insure I get the room I reserved -- then why should I even use Expedia?
Additionally, this hotel is in absolutely horrible condition! Holes in the ceiling, bathroom doors that won't close or lock, exposed wiring in holes outside the elevator door, etc.
This hotel is an absolute embarrassment to the Holiday Inn Express franchise system and should be removed from their system.
I am demanding a full refund from either Expedia or Holiday Inn Express! Instead of a roomy suite, we crammed 4 adults into 2 average size queen beds (one with my adult daughter and her adult son!) in this pathetic excuse for a hotel! Again, I am demanding a full refund from either Expedia or Holiday Inn Express! And assurance from Expedia that this will never happen again!
It was dirty there was stuff under the bed a lot of water stains on ceiling other people's hair ties on the floor and the beds are so uncomfortable it was the worst night even
Location was great for my needs. When checking in I didnât receive the room I had booked. Was told by staff that Expedia had over booked the room and they didnât have one like I needed. Had to go purchase a cot to have sleeping space for everyone.
We have been coming to this hotel for the last 8 years mostly for convenience. At first it was great. Through the years, it has declined. Needs major maintenance. Rooms need paint, shower faucets, tubs with rust, tile floors with cracks (not good for bare feet). Staff short handed. Rare to find someone at the front desk. Back door should be locked for security but left open because it doesn't fit the door jam so it's hard to open and close. The grounds are mostly weeds and the pond next to the property is full of trash.
On the good side, breakfast . Staff keeps it well stocked and all the eating area clean.
We didnât expect much but wonât be staying again. Breakfast was good. Desperately needs updates. The toilets are so low. Beds were horrible but the pillows were ok. My husband did enjoy the chase and the desk was easy to work from. Front desk lady was nice but not from the area so getting information was difficult. Pool was closed and that absolutely infuriates me when it isnât noted on the booking sites. Shower had hardly any pressure and the room was quite dirty.
Well they didnât let me stay. They said I never had a reservation even though had clearly made a reservation, showed them the confirmation. Just said sorry.
Breakfast was nice and clean, check in was easy. The doors to the outside didnât close all the way which was concerning for safety, all of the door frames were chipped with paint, ceiling tiles were open, pool has been closed for months due to maintenance, definitely needs some cleaning up.
Stopped on our way through. First room we got the ac unit didnât work. They moved us to another room and one set of outlets by the bed didnât work. Definitely could use some improvements as there were some things that were dated or damaged. Was fine for one night. Not what Iâve experienced at other holiday inns
This hotel was clean enough. Some things are worn out. This hotel is not exactly off an exit, but easy enough to figure out. Breakfast is super basic. Good enough for a late night and early morning.
