Weekend Stay

It was good for a weekend stay, but the property is showing its age. Everyone on staff was every nice, and the maintenance staff showed up super quickly for our service calls - missing remotes, remotes not working, no TV menu guide, flashing LED bulbs, clogged up shower heads. A free arcade was a nice plus, but the machines were not maintained, with sticking or non-functional flippers on every machine. Check in process was long and super annoying with a ton of pressure to attend a sales presentation. Note that the bathrooms are really small, with minimal counter space around the sink.Note also that you are not booking a specific unit, so I'm sure the quality of the different units vary. Overall, it was okay for a weekend, but we'll be looking elsewhere for future stays in the area.

Good property

It was totally worth it to stay on this property. Be aware you will be pressured into a Timeshare presentation, but they were friendly and professional. We enjoyed the week there especially after the weekend when we had most of the amenities all to ourselves.

Very clean and near everything!!

There is a lot of great things about this resort. Very clean and the location is awesome! The resort offers many pools, an arcade, and miniature golf, which my family and I really enjoyed. The room itself was very clean and exactly as described. I really enjoyed this place HOWEVER the person who helped us get our wrist bands for the resort made the experience and stay there not so great. This is a Wyndham resort so of course they will try to sell you a timeshare when you check in. However, the person that checked us in would not leave us alone on the last day of our stay here and called us at very inappropriate times of the day including midnight and 1 am just to try and sell us stuff. Just beware of this when staying at this resort. Besides that, this was a very nice place to stay and overall my family really enjoyed our time here.

Love this property!

Second time I’ve stayed at this property. Clean, close to restaurants, shops and attractions. We enjoyed the adults only pool. Definitely would book for a 3rd time!

Another Great Stay at Williamsburg Wyndham Kingsgate!

We’ve stayed at Wyndham Kingsgate in Williamsburg for years and once again, the property does not disappoint. The unit we stayed in this time had the fixtures more recently updated and is a definite improvement. The unit is comfortable, spacious, and clean, and the facilities have something for everyone. A gym for me, an arcade teens, and a pool and mini golf for all. We would highly recommend for your next trip to Williamsburg! The property is a timeshare, so you may get a hard sell at check-in, but stand your ground and say no if that’s what you wish and you won’t have an issue.

Lovely stay

We stayed in a condo that definitely showed some wear and tear but still had an awesome time. The first we used the dishwasher, it broke down early in the cycle. But maintenance was amazing and fixed it that day. The deck wasn't very clean so we swept everytthing off and noticed a broken chair that maintenance took and gave us a better one. We can't give enough praise to the maintenance crew. The room itself was fine. It had a much needed washer and dryer, although quite small. And the table was big enough to serve my family. So we were satisfied with the room. What we loved were the amenities on property! My older kids especially loved the free arcade. We took full advantage of the pool, mini-golf, Clydes, and arcade. That's what made this place a step above the rest. The location was excellent for going back and forth to the Colonial area. We will definitely come back here when we come back to the area.

Great location but busy/smelly resort

After 30 mins of trying to get away from the front desk, check-in "resort representative" who would not take "I'm not interested in a timeshare presentation" for an answer, we finally were able to drive to our room. Parking is hit or miss. You may have to walk a ways to your building. The lobby/hallway/balcony ALWAYS smelled like rotting garbage and weed. The resort apparently doesn't care if people are smoking on their decks, in entryways, or on the balconies connecting the rooms/floors. It was disgusting. If you are choosing this resort because of the amenities; don't. It is so crowded you won't be able to use any of them. The pool is literally standing room only. You can stand in the water, but don't plan on moving or swimming. The room itself was nice. the bathrooms are small, but tolerable. And the beds were comfy. But the rooms smell too. Like old/wet carpet/cleaning supplies. An do NOT take off your shoes. Our socks turned black after only walking from the living room to the bedrooms. Ick.

New Year’s Getaway

We had a positive experience. The resort and two bedroom suite met our family needs as we celebrated New Year’s in Williamsburg. Our kids enjoyed the game room and mini golf. We loved eating at Sal’s by Victor and Food for Thought.

Out dated

The room was outdated and needs a renovation and the facility wasn’t clean. The hallway outside our room had trash in the floor the entire time we were there. Check in took a while since this is a time share and they try to sale you one. Not something I wanted to deal with after a long drive.
