Great location between Cincinnati and Lexington stopped in Versailles for a ride on the rails and a day at the Cincinnati Zoo We all spent ample time in the lake
My friends and I had an amazing time and enjoyed the lake. However, the home could use a deep cleaning or better regular cleanings (even some of the bedding was stained). The sleeping quarters were a good set-up for our group but the lower level always felt damp and smelled wet, like mildew. The house was also pretty warm since it was 90 degrees with no central air - it should probably be advertised as just having window units.
We were very pleased with the cozy blue lake house. We sat on the house deck and boat deck each evening. Beautyful view of the lake and sunset was fantastic. The kitchen met our needs with plenty of pots and pans and all the extras. There is a drip coffee pot (not K-cups). The owner suppled two packs of coffee for 10 cups. Beds were comfortable. I wish the upstairs loft area had a bathroom. The room ACs kept us comfortable during the hot summer days we were there. Each room is well decorated. The furniture was well placed, clean, and comfortable. Just be aware, Greene Road is a narrow-paved road that leads to the house as soon as you turn off them Humes Ridge Road. We'd go back to this house. The owner was very responsive.
