Had the feeling the neighbors did not want this Vrbo in their neighborhood. Constantly looking out their windows at us and walking around the outside of the property on their phones discussing the property where we could hear them. 6 adults all over 50 no partying going on but they was nosey. The house could use some work and pest control. It was sufficient for our stay.
There was a mix-up about getting the code to get into the house on our night of arrival so I contacted VRBO directly. I was put on hold for 58 minutes and finally hung up because it was obvious no one was there to assist us. VRBO stinks. At the last minute the property manager came through and got us the code.
The house itself is not for a neat knick/germaphobe. The carpets are very old and stained. Most closet doors have been removed. The fridge doesn't keep things cool. The place has a tired, desperately-in-need-of-some-TLC feel. It smelled musty. The towels provided were so old. The roof had a big tarp on it. A window pane in the dining room was broken. The gutters were full of pine needles. The yard had overgrown bushes that hadn't been trimmed this season. The porch furniture consists of one tiny table with two chairs. I wouldn't mind if the place were reasonably priced, but with all the fees we paid $535 a night.
