Overall a great stay. Clean, functional layout, comfortable bed and shower has good pressure. Fire pit is a nice during the night. Only recommendation would be to have lights near the steps to the deck (potential hazard).
My partner and I stayed here for the weekend and had a lovely time! The cabin looked just like the picturesâcozy, clean, and tucked away in the middle of the woods, which made it feel peaceful and private. Being surrounded by nature, we did see a couple of little bug and bee visitors, but nothing majorâjust gently let them out and youâre good to go.Thereâs another cabin nearby, but the neighbors were quiet and respectful. We all kept to ourselves, so it still felt like we had plenty of privacy. Overall, it was a relaxing stay and weâd definitely come back!
I've enjoyed other properties managed by Hill Country Premier Rentals, but this one was a disappointment. Kitchen utensils were bare minimum with no kitchen towels. Cooking pans dirty and non-stick coating scratched. Overall, I felt the property was not well maintained. Bathroom sink was slow to drain. Broken picture on wall. The tub on the patio was filthy and not useable. Lastly, neighbors a bit too close playing loud music in the morning was not good as we were trying to enjoy coffee on the deck. Location was great. Very close to Wimberly square and the Blue Hole. Overall, would not recommend. I've stayed at properties in Driftwood that were much better.
My boyfriend and I stayed at the property for a romantic getaway/celebrating his birthday. We were both very impressed with the overall appearance, decor, and comfort of the unit. It was very clean and well kept. The AC units worked GREAT (huge deal in Texas in July).
