Clean and comfortable 3BR property that was perfect for our trip to attend Parents weekend at Wake Forest University. A short drive to campus and close to plenty of restaurants and shopping. Located in a small residential area.
Property was not clean, and the Kitchen needs some updated cookware and glasses there were a few frying pans but nothing that I would use to cook, they looked disgusting. Very limited cooking utensils and no wine glasses. The master shower controls were loose, and the drain did not work.
Upon arrival, there was trash and cans blocking the drive way and had to be removed. Picked up the trash and put it in the cans. Attempted to open the front door and the door handle came clean off. We came in and set stuff on the dining room and it was a good things I checked because 2 of the dining chairs are flimsy and about to fall apart. Lights over the dining room table did not work and several lights, including the range light in the kitchen were out. Bedrooms were nice, but the master bedroom headboard was broken and leaning to the right side upon view, causing the entire bedframe to lean. Discovered it has been a stripped out screw that I replaced the best I can so my wife and I could sleep. 6 lights in the bathroom vanity were out causing the bathroom to be really dark. My daughter found pills (we believe they were allergy pills) in here room adjacent to the master bedroom. Air vent was bent open and hadn't been cleaned for a long time with the filter needing to be replaced. We spent more time out and just attempted to be in the home to sleep and rest when we could. I did speak to the owner who was thankful I brought these up but then wanted me to get the information for the light bulbs so they can be replaced. I think I'll leave that to their maintenance.
We stayed here for our daughter dance competition. Perfect amount of room for everyone to have their own space. Quiet neighborhood. Convenient location to many food and shopping plaza. Quick access to interstate. Great host.
The condo worked out great for our stay in the Winston Salem area... Easy access just off of I-40 and close to all of the restaurants... Thanks for a GREAT stay..
A few items could be addressed and improve the home. Multiple light bulbs are out. Remote batteries are dead in 3rd bedroom, (blue rm). All vents need a good dusting.
I did like the location and felt safe.
This new construction in a quiet neighborhood had plenty of room for us to visit with our Wake Forest student and give him a break from the dorms. 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths.
The house was very dirty from dust, cobwebs, bugs, dirty linens, showers with bad draining, broken blinds, markings and dirt all over the walls, food and trash on the floor.
The home was nice and clean. There was more than enough space for my family. The location was great, close to everything. William was so helpful and communication was open our entire stay. He even accomodated us staying longer. We will stay here again anytime we're in Winston Salem!
Great stay and extremely close to EVERYTHING!
Owner does a GREAT job being truthful and honest in the listing.
It was my 1st stay with Vrbo and donât believe Iâll ever use a hotel again.
My family of 4 spent thanksgiving in this home. It was perfect for our needs and was very clean. My parents live in the area so we have stayed in this area before. The last placed we stayed was a dump, so this was a pleasant experience. This was the best location so far and I would stay here again.
