It’s clean and fine

The room looked freshly remodeled and smelled quite good (slightly lemony). The whole place was nothing special, but just right for an overnight stop on a road trip with a dog and kids

We liked the friendliness of staff. The room needed more cleaning. The bathroom tile floor had dirt, hair, and mold. There was a bug on a pillow : / Picky note - I understand not having the room overly heated or cooled ahead of time, but it needs a little bit (at least for air movement). The room was very stuffy when we arrived, and the stuffy smell never cleared. Breakfast was mostly adequate, but the eggs were seriously not edible (and we do understand that most hotel eggs are just "meh"). Beds are average - not too comfy, but not awful.
