A great spot with great views of the ocean from our apartment, nice to hear the ocean. Property generally pretty well kept and apartment was spacious and reasonably well equipped.

Two nights at the end of my five week trip

I was five weeks in Australia. This hotel was more an expensive one. As often in Australia without breakfast and for one person no discount. The location of the hotel is great, however the room and and the building INSIDE are more simple and look like a motel and don't justify a premium pricing at all. I booked the Headlands Hotel Austimer Beach because my friends in Thirroul recommended it due to the proximity to their house. An extra is definetely the washing mashine in the bathroom including laundry detergent. In summary, for this price I expect a more modern and sophisticated room / apartment.

We had a great last minute stay. The room was simple and spacious. But smelt quite a bit so needed airing. The restaurant was good too. But don't order the Oysters. They were by far the worst I have ever had, and they have put me right off them entirely now unfortunately!

Great location but tired, not so clean rooms

A very underwhelming stay - room very tired & very noisy even though we asked for a quiet room on booking & again on arrival. Girl at checkin was very dismissive of my enquiring as to a quiet room location…all too hard for her. I think this property rests on its laurels due to its location. Food in the pub was lovely, as were the bar & kitchen staff.

Absolutely awesome location, and overall setup. Literally PERFECT for our young family to enjoy the beach, and overall amenities. The restaurant/pub being so close is just awesome, and with such a gorgeous view over the water on one side.

Great property. Room cleanliness left a lot to be desired. Very comfortable bed. No fan in bathroom. No light above bathroom mirror terrible for applying makeup along with fogged mirrors as no fan. Great sized room. Our outlook was to a brick wall was hoping for beach view. Meals were amazing. Courtesy bus was great to Thirroul to Anita’s Theatre.
