Overall, we had a great experience here and will rent again. A few things were disappointing but wasn't a deal breaker. No life vests for the canoe and kayak. Ping pong table had a broken paddle upon arrival. The fire pit provided was disappointing. It wasn't in ground and there wasn't any chairs provided for the firepit.
The venue and cabin was quiet and peaceful. Two phones but no service. Says it has satellite tv but had to use all of our own log ins. If you are going to use the canoe and kayak bring life jackets. No contact information for property management.
The cabin is a huge open space with lots of room for family or friends to gather. Unfortunately there is an infestation of what we guessed are red carpenter ants on a few places around the property; we brought this to attention of Vacasa Mgmt but it was not able to be resolved while we were on our stay. One of the amenities listed was a firepit, which was not in fact there. We purchased a portable one to use and were willing to leave it there for future guests, so Vacasa Mgmt gladly reimbursed us for it, which was great. Exterior of the cabin needs some TLC and cleaning (i.e., sweeping the decks) but the inside was generally very clean except for a toilet or two that needed scrubbing and some sheets/towels laundry that had been inadvertently left there after washing in the wash machine... neither of which is a dealbreaker imo.
This is, really, a wonderful property. Clean, Huge, comfortable and on a well stocked lake. We had a wonderful time. But the door code electronics weren't working properly and cell phone reception was almost nill. I had to drive 5 miles towards town before I could get a hold of anyone to help me. This isn't a property issue, this is a VRBO issue because they put me on hold for 15 minutes at a time and then the call woudl time out.
I highly recommend this place.
We couldn't ask for better lodging. Very spacious, clean and furnished with mostly everyhing you need. We stayed 9 nights on a snowmobile trip, and couldnt be happier.
