I highly recommend this rental. The unit is cozy and extremely comfortable. There is central air was nice. Fully accommodating kitchen. Very private but a bit challenging to locate after dark.
This was a great property for four sisters from the Midwest. We enjoyed the rural setting. Walking along the canal road with one of the resident dogs was a highlight. We didnât cook too much at the house but we were pleased with the amenities. The fresh ground coffee was a great way to start the day. It was a very comfortable and quiet place to stay.
This is the second time we stayed at this property, because you cant find a better place in the Yakima area. It is close to the city and restaurants, but it is further away and secluded. You can go and take long walks in the country or enjoy the beautiful house. If you are staying in Yakima this is a must
The owner was awesome. The property was amazing. Iâm very blessed as we have three special-needs children and itâs somewhat hard to find any where with autistic Childrenâs as we have two autistic children and one with congenital adrenal hyperplasia, I was very happy big bear ranch is something I I would constantly recommend my friends and We were very happy with our stay. The owners were awesome and their dogs were very well behaved . Thank you so much for having us.
We spend the days watching a track meet in Yakima and the evenings in this gorgeous place. The house is in great condition, it has everything you need and it's so quiet. The hot tub was a great surprise.
This property exceeded our expectations. Check-in process was clear and easy. Beautiful location with all the amenities needed for home cooked meals and baking. Loved that there was a hand mixer and cupcake tins for celebrating a birthday. Host dogs are friendly, will approach with curiosity, and will follow you during walks. Parking is strict and up to 4 spaces. Hot tub was clean, cared for and well lit. Perfect for soaking after a local soccer tournament. The tree swing was a delight for 2 year old as well as the friendly and welcoming bear decor throughout the house. Home is full of many games, loved the tabletop shuffleboard. Highly recommend this thoughtful property.
*More than 1 dog must be approved. Be sure to receive host approval at time of reservation. Host reached out to approve our dog (s) day before reservation. Thank goodness we had made other arrangements for our Golden Retrievers if they hadnât been approved.
This place was magical. Beautiful property, and the drive in through orchards is just gorgeous. We were there for State dance competition, so didn't have lingering time to enjoy the hot tub (which was clean and beautiful), but the cabin has everything you need to make great meals, relax and enjoy the surroundings. Very comfortable and clean.
We will not return. There is no bathroom upstairs. The drains were clogged. The coffee grinder was jammed with fine coffee and broken. Hot tub was cold on arrival. Usually, check-in times are 11:00. This one is 4 PM. So you rented the place for 1/2 day short. Read the fine print, the owner is a stickler on check-in time.
We stayed at the Big Bear Ranch House for a weekend to get away from the city and relax for a few days and we couldnât be happier with this place. Susie was also an amazing host. She definitely made it feel like home for us.
Our stay at the big bear ranch house was a lovely getaway. It was a lovely place to unwind and let the dogs play in the yard. The house was roomy and a cozy place to kick up our feet.
A lovely location - mostly private, although the house next door caught us by surprise. Nothing at all wrong with it (super quiet) just not expected. We didn't spend much time in the house as we were there for a large wedding weekend, but the beds were comfortable and the house was clean. A very clear bear theme. Our puppy was initially scared of one of the stuffed bears, which was kind of cute. We enjoyed the immediate area for dog walking and exploring.
Had a lovely time at Big Bear. Kids ran around happily and swung on the tree swing. They have great Internet and multiple areas for people to sit together and relax. The only challenge we had (at no fault of the hosts) is the gravel road to the house and Google having some challenges.
We stayed at Big Bear Ranch House as my daughter had a volleyball tournament in Yakima. It was lovely to get to come back to a cozy, clean house and cook, walk the dogs, and relax in a beautiful location nestled in the hills and orchards.
