The environment of national park is amazing and we are very happy to have the room. It was quiet. Guests were respectful for our stay and tried to be quiet when they walked in with big suitcases. The internet connection was pretty sufficient for planning the trips.
The facility was old but functioning ok. The bathroom was small and the bear soup was only provided for our first day of stay, not the other two days (considering we paied the same). Coffee and tea were nice.
Close to all attractions within Yellowstone. Food at all restaurants in the park was way over priced. 2 hamburgerss, 2 orders of fries and 2 cokes was almost $60.

Small bathroom. No elevator or help to carry luggage upstairs. Bad view of lake.
Great and affordable place to stay inside the park. The view of the lake is incredible. The hotel doesn’t have a lot of amenities but you are in national park so expected. The rooms were clean and you are close to the other national park.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
The room was sub standard for the money poor lighting, no wifi, no TV and run down. The food offered in the village was very poor we had to travel outside the park for decent food. The park itself was beautiful but would not stay inside the park again.
Poor housekeeping. No trash removal or repleshiment of toiletries and coffee. Had to go out to registration office several times for supplies that housekeeping overlooked. Towels and bathmat were removed and not replaced. No hot water to shower on first night after late night arrival/check-in.
Location is good close to the South entrance of the park. Restaurant choices nearby are limited. Two double beds is not my favorite way to go but better than one, but they were comfortable. Housekeeping staff was adorable, never saw them but left notes on 2 occasions that were very appropriate and fixed up the room exactly as I would have requested.
Wall decor was related to Yellowstone national park and I loved that. The restaurant near by was great.

Disliked: Amenities
We wont stay at GRant Village again and won recommend it to anyone.
Poor service. Very overpriced for the spartan quality. Poor location with very little to do or see in the area. Got to room to find dirty towels. TERRIBLY WEAK DINING OPTIONS. One with reservations needed was fine. The other, Lake House, is TACO ONLY ???? WAS EXPECTING A MEAL BASED ON THE MENU AND GOT A MINI APPETIZER SIZED TACO !!! THERE IS NO MENTION OF IT BEING A MEXICAN TACO ONLY SELF SERVE. AND 6.50 PE TINY TACO ???? RIDICULOUS. AFRAID TO HAVE A SIGN OUT SIDE READING TACOS ONLY? HORRENDOUS.
WILL AVOID AT ALL COST. THE PARK SERVICE SHOULD BE ASHAMED . WHY CANT IT BE AS GOOD AS CANYON VILLAGE?
Very expensive $400+ for a college dorm experience. Only pro: convenient not to have to leave Yellowstone (saved time). Cons: No AC in the park, soaps and shampoos are diluted so takes a TON to feel clean, no elevators (problem if I had brought my elder parents), and check-in is confusing. 1) on arrival saw sign that said “registration “ and I thought that was for licenses (boating or fishing since lodging is on a lake). Turns out that sign should read “CHECK-IN”!! so we were lost and again lost time trying to figure it out. NO WIFI!!!!! Staff told us we had to drive or talk back to “registration “ office for wifi. Who wants to do that in complete dark or have to drive there to contact family etc. For price, missing amenities BUT $ does go to Nat’l park so consider it a donation
Staff are kind but missed 2nd room reserved. I had to go back to check in. Then she missed her promise for sending extra towels and blanket. Room was small, no microwave. Not many restaurants around, no breakfast cafe, no elevators in the building, no WiFi to contact families and friends. Yellowstone is great but the hotel is very disappointing for the price. Regret the booking this place.
Didn’t have a sidewalk to get our luggage inside and had to carry it up the stairs, didn’t have an iron, no tv no air conditioner, stayed here because it was close to West Thumb inside Yellowstone
