Although this cabin was petite and a tad dated, it had everything we needed for a really nice 3 night stay in the park. It was super clean with very comfortable beds, the heat worked well, the hot water worked great. We loved the location within the park and enjoyed seeing the elk several evenings on the property. Wifi was very sketchy but that was sort of nice to disconnect a bit. We could find it right up the street at the Lake Lodge as well as some other spots within the park. Be sure to walk the entire property especially down by the lake which was beautiful. I would absolutely stay there again and would highly recommend it.

Definitely an old hotel. Room was small. Lake view wasn’t worth the price. Mice scratching inside the walls!
Lake view? Hardly worth ~$700 a night!
Shower curtain was moldy and should have been replaced.
A Qtip and dust on the shelf.

Very noisy at night every night - I could hear clearly neighboring rooms activities as well as corridors whenever woke up at night and woke up quite a few times. There was no table at the restaurant neither night we arrived nor the next day dinner. Keep this in mind. Can’t say the room was clean. There was a cardboard contraption loosely housing 3 ! trash cans.

It was a nice stay. Housekeeping needs some work but they are all kids so I give them that. Dining options are limited so make sure you have a reservation. No internet is a problem only for making any other reservations etc.. kind of nice to disconnect but also kind of necessary at times.

We got very little for the high price we paid. The cabin had no tv or microwave, and no wifi. We stayed 2 nights and between nights the garbage was not emptied and the coffee packets were not replenished until we complained. Staff were pleasant but overall feel was of a place that knew there were limited options in the area so did the minimal.

Disappointment

The park was beautiful, but the hotel sucked. Black mold on the bottom grout line in the shower (gross), only one towel per person given (I need two) and they weren't changed, so we had to use damp towels from first day on. The in the room coffee was the worst tasting and it was our 40th wedding anniversary trip. I'll never stay there again and I'm telling all my friends to NEVER stay at the lake lodge!

The Hotel is beautiful with a porch &rocking chairs. (more chairs are needed) we stayed in cabin 606. It was decorated very nicely, but neither the heater nor the bathroom fan worked. Make dinner reservations when you book. We didn’t and could not eat there. We ended up eating at the more casual Lake Lodge hotel. Their porch and rocking chairs are great.
