Disliked: Staff & service
A very basic hotel with no frills like WiFi
We stayed in a cabin which was basic and alright. Check in was laborious and the room wasn’t ready until after 6pm. The cabin didn’t have wifi. There’s a big canteen which is first come first served which we avoided and popped out to the nearby town for a really nice meal. If I visited the area again i would probably stay outside the park and drive in daily (it’s 5 miles).
Great location for a home base near the North entrance. Stayed in the cabins and it was a little cramped, but, how long do you stay in the room. The little “ Town” had good options for food. Near the Lamar Valley, which is a must stop!!
The Cabins had no amenities- no tv, no wifi, no coffee maker, they had a heater but no a/c. Very tight living for the daily room charge, styled in the 1950’s. I was told to expect a refund as we only stayed one night.
We really enjoyed the peace and quiet. The cabin was clean and very comfortable. A bit of information in case you don't read it, but there is no TV in the cabin. Doesn't bother me, we never missed it. Get out and enjoy everything around the area.

Got to property at 4 pm and our rooms were still not ready. This is quite a late check in time it makes it harder with toddlers and rooms aren’t ready.
Disappointed with the facility of this hotel cabin
The room’s ventilation was horrible. Cabin was so old that there’s no thermostat to regulate room temperature. Weather is cold to have windows open and heated system is unacceptable as it is too hot and loud when on and too cold to leave it off.
Cabin is so small that there is hardly any room to open suitcases. However they put three recycle bins in the room. There is not enough electric outlets to charge electronic equipments. Bathroom is the size of a small closet. The only good thing is there’s hot water for the shower. Seems like the hotel desperately need to update its facilities. Cabins maybe good for campers but not for families or couples.
It will helpful to give renters a description and photo of the facilities during bookings. I was extremely disappointed with the accommodation. The only good thing about this facility is the restaurant. The services are good and the food is decent.
With 4 adults the cabin was so small we had to leave our suitcases in the car as there wasn’t room for us and them in the room. Luckily you could park next to the cabin however our parking spot wasn’t wide enough to open the car doors so we had to unload and then park. Our best meal
Of all our 3 inside the park accommodations but still overpriced for what you had. Big pile of buffalo poop right outside the door which made it a challenge in the dark to get to the dining hall. No inroom coffee. You had to go to the Maproom and purchase in the morning
