It is a small Bed and Breakfast in an old building. The furniture and the fitting out are old. The bathroom is very good. The breakfast is a bit disappointing.The location is in the proximity of the railway station and all the points of interest.

Perfect Guest House

We stayed for 3 nights for a Christmas shopping trip, the hotel is in a perfect location very close to York Minster and with lovely bars and restaurants on the doorstep. We were met with a very warm welcome, our room was small but had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean. I would highly recommend this lovely boutique Guest House

This is the second time of staying here, for the Christmas Market. We had a deluxe double room, which is in the quiet annexe behind the main building, and on the ground floor. It's close to the city centre, within a couple of minutes you're at the Minster. Lots of places to eat and drink very close by. Staff/owner friendly and helpful. Bottles of water in the room, and a lovely small bottle of Prosecco, as well as the usual tea and coffee and biscuits. Look forward to staying again next year.

Staff very welcoming and helpful. The Mews room was very comfortable and the facilities were first class. The complimentary bottles of water and the small bottle of Prosecco was a nice touch. We would be keen to use this Hotel should we return to York.
