Should have believed the door access reviews- arrived and couldn’t get in. Called ‘Tiffany’ with Evolve- no answer…. Arrived at 7:28 PM, ‘Taylor’ called at 8:10 and helped with a common access code- which worked. Last 7 of my cell did not. No directions, locked out after three tries but had to one more time…. My daughter and I had taken all our things back to the car and we were headed to her dorm room when she called.
Next list- dishwasher broken, refrigerator door broken- slings completely to the side of the fridge.
- obvious that it had not been cleaned for a little while (pink ring in toilet, dust), trash cans with ‘stuff’ that had run down the did in one bathroom
- my daughter was a little freaked out by the urn on the kitchen shelf behind the sink
- zero ‘guest niceties’ except a few coffee pods, no Kleenex?
- found a bag of sugar stuck to a shelf in the kitchen, expired spices and other things
- front door frame cracked where obviously another guest couldn't get in and the door DOES NOT close properly unless you set the bolt lock
- floor is sloped toward the center of the entire building
Fireplace was nice, beds OK and good TV.
I have traveled all over the world and used multiple properties by these types of groups and have never been this disappointed. This took the prize for a leasing company - Evolve- and an owner that wants the $$ but could care less about their guests.
My daughter has 4 years at Young Harris and never again.
