The good: Location is excellent, right near the city's main square and a short walk from many sights and fun areas of town. The hotel itself is really nice, rooms are clean and new and well designed, pool and gym are very cool. The not-so-good: Staff is generally pretty friendly, but can also be a little dismissive, which we've found to be more or less par for the course in Croatia. Rooftop was closed 'for the season' though there was no notice and all the other outdoor bars and restaurants in town were open. The bad: Try to ensure you have a room that is not facing the "courtyard", which is not a courtyard but a tiny parking lot with views of the next door building's HVAC. If you get one of the studios, which is kind of a mini-suite, then they all face the 'courtyard', so try to at least get one on a higher floor. Conclusion: You're in Zagreb to see the city, not the hotel, so the relatively minor inconveniences of the Zagreb Art'otel are not a big deal; the hotel is still very nice. Enjoy the city, sights, people, food, and have fun in Croatia!

Great hotel. Very good location, room was very clean and comfortable. Unfortunately rooftop was unavailable but that didn’t matter. Lots of shops, restaurants around. Walkable. Very happy with our experience. Would definitely stay there again! Highly recommended!

Nice boutique style hotel . Excellent breakfast with a la carte menu in addition to buffet . We stayed in upgraded room which was very nice . The location is also good since it’s within walking distance of all major historic attractions, and a straight shot to train station .

Hotel was modern and in a great location. The only thing I wasn’t impressed with was the view through the room window. It wasn’t any. I didn’t appreciated being on the first floor. Thankfully, I only stayed over the night.

The concierge and staff at the hotel restaurant were absolutely wonderful! Very helpful, professional and friendly. The hotel room was a bit under stocked. We were missing many toiletries in our bathroom. The cleanliness could have been just a bit better as there were stains on the rug and the shower was a bit dirty. Overall though we were happy with our stay.

Only negative was that the roof top bar was closed for private events for the whole week we were there. This was disappointing as the roof top bar is one of the main attractions of the hotel. They should still have a section for hotel guests even when private events are being held

Very cool vibe and cool room. It was very modern but also cool. Buttons to open the curtains and turn on and off the lights from your bed. There was even a record player with records ! Breakfast was good. Only negative was that the towels were dirty twice . Not sure if they were stained or actually dirty. The housekeeper wasn't very thorough with cleaning ( hair was in the shower from the previous guest before we arrived ) and glasses that we used were not taken from the room and replaced once they serviced it . Otherwise, friendly people and nice hotel .

Beautifully appointed hotel close to everything. Room was lovely and the breakfast was amazing- I dream of their tomato focaccia bread. But by far, the best part was the staff- Sarah spent 20 minutes telling us all about the best sites and restaurants and was so helpful. Don’t miss walking down the promenade nearby with all the restaurants- so charming!
