Stayed on 6/10/25 whilst the owners were away. I had booked a twin room back in June which was confirmed by Expedia. When I arrived at the property the gentleman who was looking after the property said he had no record of the booking. I spoke to the owner and she said she must have missed the booking. I was given a pokey attic single room with meagre facilities. The gentleman did all he could to make things as good as possible. I have not had the couetsey of a call back from the owner despite me receiving a room far below the spec I had booked. What is the relevance of a notification of a confirmed booking from Expedia if it is not?
