The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. I was quite miffed that the only piece of cutlery in the whole room was one tea spoon, and the room service/dining service was not available all day without explanation. This was a bummer and meant I had to go out and get food and disposable cutlery. Easy online check in and check out.

The reception staff member was delightful and so helpful. He's always so nice. The room wasnice and clean and the bed was so comfortable for a great sleep. The restaurant was nice and staff were pleasant. Menu choices were good but servings could have been a little bigger for the price. $16 for half a bowl of soup is a bit pricey and the salad would have been nicer if served in a separate bowl rayher than on a hot plate which made it wilted and less enjoyable. Otherwise the food is nice and I'll stay again because the accommodation is good value. One thing I was a bit unsure about was the deep bath which was a bit concerni g to step out of as I have arthritis. Perhaps extra grab rails would benefit? The shower was lovely and hot and the supplies of shampoo, conditioner and body wash were lovely.

Standards Have Slipped

Have stayed here before and was disappointed in how the room standard has dropped. The couch was missing one of its back cushions, the table was so unsteady that you could not safety put a drink on it, only one chair was provided at the table, meaning you had to move the unmatching desk chair, the bed had only two pillows and there were no spare blankets.
