We stayed in a heritage room upstairs and overlooking the street. The room, staircase and corridors were a bit dated but probably to be expected in an old building. That said the bathroom was new and included a spa bath. Very nice. The bed was new and very comfortable. I probably would have liked a bit more lighting around the bed for reading. The meals in the dining room were tasty and good value. The location is very good for shopping. We could hear soft music playing outside in the evening and a bit of traffic in the morning, but it was very quiet overnight and we had no trouble sleeping

Due to renovations there was no obvious reception area. I checked in with a friendly lady at front bar. I payed almost $210 for a ‘Family Spa Chalet’ which turned out to be a queen bed and small table in a room. Somehow there wasn’t even space to open the wardrobe. Amenities were minimal, not even a pen or drink available in the fridge which was unfortunate. The spa bath was nice, though the tiles are chipped in that bathroom. It wasn’t terrible, but I don’t feel I received value for money.

The rooms upstairs are a great health and safety concerns with the stairs you have to carry your suitcases with no lift or help.

The venue is great. The location has endless daytime activities. The staff were nice. The room was old and stale smelling. The aircon worked on and off and the room was stuffy so I would have loved the aircon to work properly. The bathroom smells I would recommend cleaning out the drains and doing a spa bath clean rinse. There is a speaker right outside our rooms window which meant we could hear pretty loud music until midnight even with the window closed (room 202 upstairs jetted tub suite). All up I don't think the stay was worth the money at all and the rooms need a desperate renovation.

Shower leaked at wall. Access from carpark is dangerous if you are impaired at all. Brickwork promotes tripping and falls. Fan switch did not work and fan operated off light switch and took forever to stop.

The motel and room was terribly outdated and in poor condition. Our room was over hotel and so we could hear music until early hours. Mattress on bed was in poor condition and uncomfortable. Had very poor sleep will not be going back.

The furniture and fittings our outdated. But the bed was comfortable, single bed sunk quite a lot when sat on so glad I didn’t need to sleep on that. Served its purpose. Had somewhere to sleep, shower and east parking.
