Villa Kari

Villa Kari is a beautiful brand new villa in the south of Crete for 4 people with private pool. The villa has been carefully furnished and fully equipped and is located in a complex with 10 other villas. Villa Kari is located at the bottom of this complex and has a breathtaking view over the valley. From the villa you can walk straight into the olive groves. Here you can completely relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings and the starry sky in the evening.

Inside
The villa has a modern, well-equipped kitchen/diner with sliding doors to the terrace. There are two spacious bedrooms, each with its own toilet, sink and rain shower. The bedrooms have silent fans and air conditioning. There is also air conditioning in the kitchen/diner. All windows have mosquito nets and shutters so you can keep it nice and cool during the day.

Outside
From the kitchen and bedrooms you can step onto the terrace and have a fantastic view of the valley, the Libyan Sea and the villages in the area. The terrace has a large dining table with chairs, a bench and an outdoor shower. There are sun loungers and two large parasols around the private swimming pool (6x4 meters). There is always a spot to be found in the sun or in the shade. The outdoor kitchen at the bottom of the terrace has a sink and an electric barbecue. There are also two sunbeds here. You can park your car at the entrance of the villa.

Environment
Mariou is a beautiful village within walking distance of your accommodation. There is a shop on the square where you can buy locally made cheese and yoghurt, bread, coffee and some necessary groceries. There is also a small grill tavern on the square and a traditional kafenion a little further in the village on the road. Here the men sit on the sidewalk under the mulberry tree, drinking their coffee or raki and playing a game of cards. Mariou taverna is less than a 10-minute walk from the villa and has a beautiful view of the entire area. Plakias is 4 km away and has all facilities: supermarkets, restaurants, beach bars, a very long beach and much more.

Activities
This area is known for its rugged nature, birds of prey, many olive trees, beautiful beaches and breathtaking views. You can reach this region via the Kotsifou gorge or the Kourtaliotiko gorge. The latter is known for the waterfalls that you reach via a long staircase.

Here you can walk, horse ride, dive, snorkel, take beautiful tours and above all enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

Villa Kari offers its guests an outdoor pool, barbecue grills, and a garden. The front desk is open around the clock.
