We had a wonderful stay at Natureâs Tranquility. The house was right in between the Arch Rock entrance and the south entrance of Yosemite, and we used both. The house had plenty of amenities and room for my family and my sisterâs family so we could all enjoy our summer trip together.
Great stay at a lovely property. Host was so very helpful with questions from where to eat to tips on Yosemite. Communication was quick and efficient. Loved the fact that there were multiple larger beds so that my college boys didnât have to share sleeping spaces. Donât forget to step outside at night and look at the night sky. It was stunning to see the stars so clearly. Highly recommend!
This property is amazing! Enough room for 11 of us, all rooms and bathrooms are nicely updated and decorated, and the outside views are spectacular! The host is very nice and responds to messages very quick. And my personal favorite - no neighbors as far as the eye can see. We would absolutely stay there again!
This property is amazing! Very quiet and serene with beautiful views and awesome accommodations! Everything needed was provided, and very comfortable. Plenty of space for everyone to be comfortable. There were 4 adults and 3 children
The stay was good and comfortable. But the master bathroom didnât have hot water. Please fix that.I have a suggestion as well. We wanted to sit out and chat at night but the mosquitoes were not too friendly. In the gazebo if you put retractable mesh screens, it will be great.Other than these two things, everything else was satisfactory.
Beautiful home in a beautiful little town. I loved everything about this home. The spacious rooms. The kitchen, the view, the quiet and calmness. Iâm sad to leave but excited to plan another trip. Host was very responsive and accommodating. Kids were happy too and that says a lot!!
The property was great once we got there. Also the communication with the owner was very fast. It took us much longer to get there than anticipated, however . Coming from Yosemite it took us 1.5 hours while the map when plotting from the property to Yosemite is only 40 minutes. Just be aware and plot in both directions so you can set your expectation properly.
We enjoyed our stay and the beautiful view. As a traveler who uses a full-time manual wheelchair, itâs often difficult for me to find a short term rental without stairs and with a bathroom large enough to accommodate a wheelchair. And itâs especially difficult to find one that is off the beaten path with a beautiful view. This property was all of those things. The host was very quick to reply to all of my questions. I would definitely stay here again and Iâm already looking for an excuse to come back!
This property fit us all very well. The kids loved the surrounding area to run around. It was spacious and clean. Owner was very responsive when I reached out for any needs. Very close to their downtown area which has all that you need to stock up or eat out.
Very much enjoyed staying at this great vacation rental house. I think it was bigger than our house, so plenty of room to spread out. House was immaculately clean and had a wonderful kitchen. Great location to explore Yosemite during the day and enjoy the town of Oakhurst.
My family of 4 adults, 2 seniors, and a dog stayed here on our trip to Yosemite. The house was big and provided ample bed options for us, though the bunk bed and pull out couch were both incredibly uncomfortable. The dining table was too small for us all to share a meal, odd considering the house had accommodations for 7 or more. There was a surprising lack of tables in general, no coffee table by the couches, picnic/patio table in the yard, or bedside tables by any of the beds. Not a deal breaker, but inconvenient. The yard is very large and does offer beautiful views as described. The gazebo has handicap ramps which was a nice touch.
My father has mobility problems and requires a wheelchair or a walker. This was one of few listings with accessibility features. The main living room was large and sparsely furnished, allowing plenty of room to maneuver a wheel chair. There is one accessible bathroom with a widened door, grab bars, and a roll in/ walk in shower. It was nice. Unfortunately my dad couldnât use the shower because there wasnât a bench or anywhere to sit while he bathed. So make sure you bring your own if you need such a thing! It is also important to note that while the bathroom was wheelchair friendly the bedrooms werenât. They didnât have widened doors, had thick carpets and throw rugs, and didnât have much room to use a walker. This house has great potential for an accessible get away, but it isnât quite there yet.
In our stay at the property we were very comfortable, very clean and comfortable facilities. Internet access is super easy and fast, we were 7 people and we used the internet without problems.
Very quiet to get home and relax.
Access to the property is a little confusing, but nothing that can't be fixed with GPS.
The communication with the owner of the property was excellent, always aware of everyone, quick responses to our concerns.
We would definitely stay in the place again.
We planned a last minute trip to Yosemite. We were pleased with the location considering the last minute trip. The house was clean, comfortable and quiet. We would definitely recommend this location and would stay here again. One small issue the kitchen could be better equipped with cookware.
It's so hard to find excellent and affordable places to stay near Yosemite, but Daniel's place checked a lot of the right boxes and we had a great time. Some cons: a few maintenance issues along the way, relatively slow internet shared between two dwellings, a kitchen that's not outfitted well for making family-sized meals, very limited cleaning supplies to keep up with family needs, and a long drive from Ahwahnee to Yosemite. Also some pros: very big space to spread out, nicely shaded outdoor features for relaxing, basic needs all well-met, very friendly and communicative host, and not far from Oakhurst for groceries, supplies, a few restaurants (definitely check out Smokehouse 41!), and some fun local hikes.
