Beautiful place & a fantastic view. The view is payed for by the very steep walk home from town which isnât easy.A few more basic essentials would have been appreciated. For eg dishwashing tablets, garbage bags, salt & pepper etc.In saying that, I wouldnât not stay here!A very good holiday was had.
The property was awesome and idyllic, it was unfortunate the hill leading up to the property was steep.
A few extra stairs to get to the apartment once on the property.
Amazing Appartement. Well-equipped, outstanding view on the see, well-organized check-in⊠we had a lovely stay and would recommend anyone to book this.

Lovely BUTâŠ
When we walked in we were amazed. Beautiful interior, nice view and we loved that there was little things like bbq sauce, salt, spices and oil in the kitchen. The place is bright, light and quiet and on top of a steep hill. We didnât mind the walk and felt we needed the exercise so wasnât an issue
Negatives: provide more towels, 1 towel per person wasnât enough. Thereâs no face washers, and there wasnât enough small bottles of shampoo and conditioner. They leave enough for one person for one night. Thereâs no blinds in the living room, watching tv was annoying due to the glare and we couldnât see, and felt people could see in at night. The bed is hard/firm despite management delivering a mattress topper, which I had to put on. The air conditioning systems did not work when we arrived. I called management early next day to and was told that I was running the AC to low/cold & she implied I broke their air conditioners. They sent an electrician that day however he got there late and wanted to go home so disconnected the unit entirely and said heâd be back the next day. I was shocked they were going to leave us again for. 2nd night without air con so demanded someone come to fix. He came back said they hadnât been serviced/cleaned properly. I thought this was pretty crappy service by them tbh. Itâs QLd, itâs humid and hot. Functioning airconditioners are essential. I did request 1nights refund due to the inconveniences, which they agreed on.
Lovely property with stunning views! The one downfall was the bed wasnât overly comfortable but the apartment was very clean with everything you would need. Central location, probably too steep to walk to the centre of town for most people. Overall, loved the stay and the pool/spa was a highlight.
The apartment was lovely with beautiful views. Very spacious apartment, well stocked kitchen. The only problem we encountered was the walking to and from town. We never hire a car, so I guess if you get the nice views, then there is a downside, and for us it was the walking up and down the very steep hill. We ended up relying on taxis to get back to the apartment. When we come back, I will be hiring a car!!
Whilst this property is a small hike up a hill (if you don't have access to transport) once we entered the unit we felt like we were right at home. We loved the ability to cook every evening and morning in the kitchen, and really enjoyed the views this space gave. Nice and quiet, perfect spot to relax after spending the day exploring.
We stayed recently in this beautiful little unit overlooking the most amazing view of the whitsundays.
No complaints it was exactly like the photos although there are alot of units in a small area so not alot of privacy but we were lucky enough to stay at a time when there werent really any people around so for us it was fine...
The pool is really close to the unit so that was great aswell
The views are absolutely unbelievable !!ÂĄ
Would highly recommend
Great overall experience; excellent view - up a steep hill which is good if you want to get fit; very helpful & friendly host; clean & lots of amenities provided - incl. Netflix, fully stocked kitchen, ganes (could have used a bit more in the bathroom); enjoyed bath in big tub
The property has one of the most beautiful view in Airlie beach, on the top of a very steep hill in a quiet environment. The apartment is in the Withsunday Reflection resort complex. It was almost a 5 star holiday experience, but we found some minor issues to be fix to reach our five star rating, as follows:
- The apartment had a poor set of supplies in the kitchen and bathroom which was not in line with our week long booking, like getting only 4 coffee capsules, 1 toilet paper roll, no paper wipes, no alu foil, no clingwrap no salt or pepper at least, only 3 dishwasher tablets, etc. So you have to start with a big shopping to fill up their pantry which is far from convenient, especially that shops are down at the beach and the accomodation is on the top of the hill, so a daily taxi ride is a must.
The other issue was that the swimming pool's water opacity was not very welcoming so we rather skipped it.
The design of the apartment is a bit weird not so perfect for privacy lovers. Having the bathroom in the bedroom, and the balcony which is not enclosed so theoretically anyone can enter there, or walk in front if it to the swimming pool but we hardly seen anyone around.
Due to its location and the steep (and slippery) stairs all around the property maybe not be so perfect for elder people especially with any movement difficulties.
Beside these minor easily correctable issues it was a fantastic holiday!
We had a wonderful time in Airlie Beach and the apartment at Reflections made it ideal. as the description says the views are sensational and we spent as much time as possible on the balcony overlooking the beautiful bay.
The apartment is very comfortable with all the facilities you could need and the bath in the bedroom was very special!
One slight word of warning if you don't have a car (which we didn't) the apartment is up a very steep long hill so be prepared for a strenuous walk back from town or Woolies which is at the bottom of the hill! If you have a car it looked as though parking would not be a problem.
If you want to sunbathe and swim the lovely pool is just down the path from the apartment it was lovely and we had it to ourselves!
I would come to Airlie and this apartment in a heartbeat if I ever come to Australia again but next time I will stay more than 5 nights!
