The Finca Son Frensi located on the edge of the beautiful village of Alaro at the foot of the Tramuntana mountains and the characteristic mesas. The path that leads up to the famous castle of AlarĂł and the restaurant Es Verger starts not far from the house. The hilly area is also characterized by numerous almond trees, the fields in the most beautiful white flowering pink and diving. The finca has a more spacious outdoor area with local trees and a large and covered terrace on the pool side with shaded seating. Here is also the brick barbecue. The 8 x 4 meter pool, of course, for single use, has a Roman staircase as easy entry. The house has three bedrooms, two of which with twin beds, a are furnished with a double bed. Next to the bedroom with loft is a game room as a transit area. One of the two bathrooms is en suite in addition to one of the bedrooms, the other bathroom is located in the living area, which in turn is just off the kitchen. The completely furnished and equipped with a dishwasher kitchen also has an exit to the main terrace. The cozy living area with fireplace has German-language satellite TV and free internet access via WiFi. Air conditioning on request and a safe are also available. An ideal home for all claims and within walking distance to the village.

Wir hatten so tolle Tage auf der gemĂŒtlichen Finca. Es ist mit Liebe eingerichtet und wirklich sehr gut ausgestattet, grade fĂŒr die KĂŒche. Auch war das Haus sehr sauber! Der Aussenbereich war unser Hauptaufenthaltsort. Toller Pool, perfekte Grösse. Auch der Kontakt mit dem Besitzer war so herzlich. Und mit der Verwaltung hatten wir auch nur positive Erfahrungen. Wir können die Liegenschaft wĂ€rmstens weiterempfehlen.Die Zufahrt ist etwas eng, aber locker machbar. Auch zum Aussteigen und Tor öffnen reicht der Platz. Toll ist auch, dass man das Auto sicher im Hof parken kann.

Great stay

The Villa is ideally located 5 minutes from Alaro. You could walk into the village if you like (although it was a heatwave while we were staying so most of the time we chose to drive in) The villa itself was lovely, well provisioned and clean. The a/c in the living room was ok, although to make the most of this for the rooms you need to leave your doors open at night. Some nights were quite hot, however it was a heatwave at the time with daytime temps hitting 38 so it’s fair enough that it struggled to keep up. The Villa is surrounded by other properties but overall it was quite and very peaceful. The pool was ok although there seemed to be some issues with getting the filter system working correctly which lead to it being quite dirty at one point. The owner did have this fixed by an engineer, although I’d say that compared to other pools we’ve had in the past it still was not as clean as I think it could have been. The kitchen is maybe slightly on the small side for a 3 bedroom property but for what we needed it was sufficient. The boiler seemed to struggle sometimes & I had to relight the pilot a few times myself. It was either scolding hot or cold & was difficult to regulate certainly if two people were showing at the same time. I think they could do with having the boiler serviced. Communication with the owner was great & whenever we needed anything they were quick to respond. For the reasons above I think it is deserving of 4 rather than 5 stars.

Comfortable, great location

Stayed a week with some friends to do some rock climbing. Good location for exploring various crags around the island with very comfortable accommodation and a short walk to town for good restaurants and supermarket. A very enjoyable stay.

Perfect - In every way

This villa offers a perfect balance. It is secluded and rural, so you get to enjoy your stay without being overlooked or impacted by the noise and activities of others. Yet you are also within walking distance of Alaro, so you benefit from that community and all amenities. Within Alaro you will find a supermarket and plenty of bars and restaurants. The larger town of Inca is short drive away if you need anything you cannot get locally. The villa offers spectacular views and access to the mountains and surrounding countryside, while also being centrally located for drives to Palma and other coastal areas. We were able to explore many different areas of the island from this location. The villa is in good condition. Sure, it may be a little dated, but in a good way. It has plenty of quirks and features that make it standout from the bland modern villas that are otherwise available. The space, both inside and out, is plentiful and the pool is both a good size and depth. Booking and communication was excellent and the host was immediately responsive when we did have a problem. We'd definitely recommend staying here, in what is a wonderful home in a great part of the Island.

Fantastic property, very much enjoyed our stay here!

Lovely property with fantastic outside space. A short walk in to Alaró which had a number of nice restaurants and a lovely little bakery on the square. The pool was great for the kids as it had shallow steps in before getting deeper. Ample space inside, although we didn’t spend much time there! The owners met us on arrival and couldn’t be more accommodating. This was a real Mallorcan home from home and we look forward to coming back.

Wir hatten eine entspannte Woche in der ruhigen Finca. Zu beachten ist, dass es in den SchlafrĂ€umen keine Klimaanlagen gibt! Klimaanlage fĂŒr Aufpreis im Wohnraum möglich. Kaffeemaschine war sehr gewöhnungsbedĂŒrftig, könnte man mal austauschen. Ansonsten war alles ok.

Wunderbares Ferienhaus in herrlicher Natur

Wir durften vom 12. - 22.5. einen sehr erholsamen Urlaub in Alaro verbringen. Das Haus liegt in wunderbarer Natur mit Blick auf das Tramuntanagebirge. NatĂŒrlich muss man hier damit rechnen, dass einem gelegentlich ein Tier ĂŒber den Weg lĂ€uft. Der Außenpool ist der absolute Hammer! Hier ist man im gesamten großzĂŒgigen Außenbereich abgeschirmt und genießt absolute Ruhe. In 10 Munuten erreicht man fußlĂ€ufig das schöne ursprĂŒngliche Örtchen Alaro. Das Haus ist perfekt ausgestattet mit allem, was man braucht. Die Mahlzeiten nimmt man an einem großen Tisch auf einer schönen ĂŒberdachten Terrasse ein. Mit einem Mietwagen kann man sehr gut in alle Richtungen die wunderschöne Insel mit seinen schönen StrĂ€nden erkunden. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefĂŒhlt!

Sehr schöne Unterkunft. Wie beschrieben.

Die Unterkunft war wie im Inserat beschrieben. Eine ursprĂŒngliche Finca mit eigenem Pool und großem GrundstĂŒck in ruhiger Lage. Alles sauber. Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter verlief reibungslos. Wir kommen gern wieder.

Sehr ruhig gelegene Finca. Ausstattung war Ok. FĂŒr die Zufahrt zum GrundstĂŒck sollte man sich ein kleineres Auto mieten. „ sehr schmal „. Vermieter war sehr freundlich. Es gab ein paar Nagetiere die ĂŒber das Dach und Terrasse gelaufen sind. Das W- LAN war sehr schwach. Alles in allem, ist die Finca schon in die Jahre gekommen.

Zusammenfassung

Von der Buchung bis zur Abreise hatten wir einen super Urlaub. Das Haus wie auch die Betreuung durch die Agentur war sehr gut. Die Ausstattung des Hauses entsprach zu 100% den Angaben aus dem Web. Poolbereich, Terrasse und landschaftliche Lage waren hervorragend. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Sehr schönes Haus in sehr ruhiger und doch ortsnaher Lage

Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet mit allem was man braucht. Die KĂŒche bietet alles nicht nur fĂŒrs FrĂŒhstĂŒck, sondern auch zum kochen fĂŒr 6 Personen. Sehr schöne Zimmer, sehr saubere BĂ€der mit bodenebener Dusche. Der Pool ist perfekt! Vom Haus kann man in 10 min nach AlarĂł laufen, es gibt dort mehrere BĂ€cker, einen sehr gut sortierten Supermarkt und einige Restaurants und Bars. Der Kontakt zur Verwalterin Frau Voss war sehr freundlich und professionell. Wir können das Haus sehr empfehlen und werden gerne wiederkommen.

Wanderurlaub auf Mallorca

Eine wunderbare Finca, herrlich gelegen am Ortsrand von Alaro. Den Pool haben wir bei bestem Wetter Ende Oktober genossen, genauso wie die Terrasse. Tolle Umgebung mit dem schönen Castell von Alaro um die Ecke am Fuße der Tramuntana. Zu empfehlen fĂŒr Familien und Menschen, die die Natur genießen wollen. Zum Meer sind es 30 Minuten Autofahrt. Gerne wieder!

Wir (4 Erwachsene, 2 Kleinkinder) waren fĂŒr zwei Wochen in Alaro und haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen! Die Kommunikation lief super und wir haben uns in der Finca sehr wohl gefĂŒhlt! Da es wĂ€hrend unseres Aufenthaltes teilweise sehr heiß war (ĂŒber 40 Grad), waren wir froh, dass wir ein Sonnensegel dabei hatten um den Pool etwas zusĂ€tzlich zu beschatten. Ansonsten war die Ausstattung super und es wurde sogar extra ein zweiter Kinderstuhl zur VerfĂŒgung gestellt. Wir kommen gerne wieder

Tolle Finca abseits vom Tourismus

schöne Finca am Fuße des Tramuntana Gebirges. Der Pool ist genial, mit Treppeneinstieg, unsere 3jĂ€hrige Enkelin hat sich mit Kinderschwimmweste getraut das " Schwimmen" zu lernen. Die KĂŒche ist ganz gut ausstaffiert, mit Pfannen, Töpfen, Geschirr, teilweise im Schrank im Eßzimmer. Fanden wir gut, weil wir viel selber gekocht haben. Man muss erstmal ein bischen auf Entdeckungstour gehen. Die Klimaanlage lĂ€uft im " Wohnzimmer+Eßzimmer". In den Schlafzimmern kann man Ventilatoren anmachen, die bei 35 / 36° C nur die Luft umwĂ€lzen. FĂŒr die Finca braucht man unbedingt einen Mietwagen (sonst keine Anbindung). Wir haben von der Finca aus viele AusflĂŒge gemacht und waren jedes Mal froh, an einen Pool ohne andere Touris zurĂŒck zu kommen. Zu der Finca gehören auch noch GrundstĂŒck mit Zitronen-, Quitten-, FeigenbĂ€umen. Bei der MĂŒllentsorgung muss man sich erstmal schlau machen, wann was vorne an der Strasse abgeholt wird. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt vom 1.8.22 - 13.8.22 sehr genossen und können die Finca weiterempfehlen. Unsere Ansprechpartnerin Frau Voss war immer gut erreichbar, und auch der EigentĂŒmer war sehr nett. Wir können die Finca auf jeden Fall weiterepfehlen

Parfait !

Nous avons passĂ© un trĂšs bon sĂ©jour d’une semaine. La maison est bien situĂ©e et au calme. Elle est parfaite pour un sĂ©jour de deux couples avec enfants. Les espaces chambres sont bien sĂ©parĂ©es et chaque famille a sa salle de bain. La dĂ©co est sympa, nous avons beaucoup aimĂ© la petite moto :) Nous avons rĂ©cupĂ©rĂ© la maison sans problĂšme, le systĂšme est trĂšs bien fait mĂȘme en arrivant tard le soir. La maison Ă©tait propre et nous avions tout ce qu’il fallait : draps, couettes, serviettes de toilettes pour tout le monde. Une bouteille de vin et des gĂąteaux nous attendaient :) Nous n’avons malheureusement pas pu profiter de la piscine mais trĂšs sympa avec l’espace extĂ©rieur pour les repas. Le contact avec l’agence a Ă©tĂ© parfait Ă©galement, nous avons eu des problĂšmes pour l’heure de notre arrivĂ© et tout a Ă©tĂ© gĂ©rĂ© avec professionnalisme. Nous sommes ravis de notre sĂ©jour. Bonne continuation au propriĂ©taire trĂšs sympathique.

Gerne wieder !

Wir waren dort fĂŒr 1 Woche. Die Aussenanlage ist hervorragend geeignet, um dort sich bei gutem Wetter aufzuhalten, und zwar den ganzen Tag ĂŒber. Die KĂŒche ist ausreichend ausgestattet, ein großer KĂŒhlschrank, der GeschirrspĂŒler und die Waschmaschine waren ausgezeichnet. Die Betten, oft ein großes ?, waren fĂŒr uns sehr gut. Ein defektes GerĂ€t wurde sofort gewechselt. FĂŒr den Sommer könnte der Pool bei meheren Personen etwas eng werden, fĂŒr uns war er ausreichend. Also insgesamt : siehe Überschrift !

Was an dieser Finca modern sein soll, haben wir bis zum Ende des Urlaubes nicht herausfinden können.

SĂ€mtliche SchrĂ€nke wie auch der Inhalt (KĂŒchengeschirr) mussten von uns zunĂ€chst gereinigt werden. Aufgrund der allgemein mangelnden Sauberkeit verwunderte es uns kaum, dass wir jeden Abend im Bereich des Grills Besuch von 3 Ratten hatten. Neben diesen besuchten uns in der Nacht auch mehrfach Kakerlaken in der KĂŒche. Bei Anreise war noch Asche und mehrere Zigarettenstummel in der Auffangschale des Grills vom Vormieter vorhanden. Die Aschereste werden seitlich vom Grill auf der “Wiese“ offenbar einfach nur aufgeschĂŒttet und ihrem Schicksal ĂŒberlassen. Waren tagsĂŒber die Fenster geschlossen, roch es im Anschluss im gesamten Haus wie in einem feuchten Keller. Offenbar ist dieser Umstand bekannt, denn im gesamten Haus befanden sich unterschiedlichste penetrant riechende Duftspender, welche von uns in Detektivarbeit zunĂ€chst gefunden und an die frische Luft gebracht werden mussten. Durch die enorm hohe Feuchtigkeit und den muffigen Geruch, welcher auch in den KleiderschrĂ€nken vorhanden war, verwundert es kaum, dass in genau diesen auch Schimmel zu finden war. Im Badezimmer, welches sich am Wohnbereich befindet, roch es nach Abwassergrube, da offenbar etwas mit dem Siphon der Dusche nicht stimmte. Lediglich das Abdecken des Abflusses konnte den Geruch etwas eindĂ€mmen. Direkt bei Ankunft wurden wir auf eine defekte Kochstelle des Gasherdes aufmerksam gemacht. Diese sollte noch am Folgetage ausgetauscht werden. Am zweiten Tag kamen uns beim Kochen direkt beide Fettfilter der Dunstabzugshaube entgegen. Diese waren ebenfalls defekt und wurden wie auch die Kochstelle beide nicht bis zum Ende des Urlaubs getauscht. Die Nutzung der Klimaanlage fĂ€llt mit 10,- € pro Tag zusĂ€tzlich zum Tagessatz an. Was an keiner Stelle erwĂ€hnt wird ist, dass sich die Klimaanlage lediglich im Wohnzimmer befindet. Die restlichen RĂ€ume, insbesondere die Schlafzimmer sind nicht klimatisiert. Um in den SchlafrĂ€umen einigermaßen ertrĂ€gliche Temperaturen zum Schlafen zu erhalten, musste am Abend gelĂŒftet werden. Da an keinem der Fenster Moskitonetze vorhanden sind, kann davon nur abgeraten werden. Trotz Autan kamen jede Nacht unzĂ€hlige neue MĂŒckenstiche hinzu. Im Pool befand sich ein sog. Poolroboter, der auch wĂ€hrend des Badens nicht aus dem Becken genommen werden durfte. Die Reinigungsleistung ist mangelhaft, weshalb dieser jeden Tag von uns manuell gereinigt werden musste. Kurzum, wir wĂŒrden diese Finca nicht noch einmal buchen geschweige denn weiterempfehlen.
