Welcome to Knotty Acres, your private Lake Cumberland basecamp just 5 miles from Marina Rowena. Set on nearly 4 wooded acres, our covered RV retreat gives you a comfortable place to relax between days on the lake—with room for the family, your boat, and even your own camper if you need additional sleeping space. Additional 50-amp RV hookup available for a small nightly fee. Lake days are easy from Knotty Acres. Marina Rowena is just 5 minutes away and offers pontoon and jet ski rentals, transient slips, fuel, a pump-out station, a ship store, ice cream, and the Rowena View Café. Bring your own boat or rent one for the day, then come back to your private basecamp to grill, relax, and enjoy the evening.

Make yourself at home in our comfortable, fully equipped basecamp. The private master bedroom features a queen-size bed, generous closet space, nightstand, and the convenience of an in-unit washer and dryer.

The kitchen is stocked with cookware, dishes, spices, and seasonings, making it easy to prepare meals during your stay. Enjoy a fresh cup from the coffee bar each morning, and keep drinks cold with the convenient countertop ice maker.

The rear bunkroom offers four bunk beds, including one oversized bunk that provides additional sleeping space. One bunk also features its own TV, making it a fun space for kids or additional guests.

Need extra sleeping space? The living room sofa easily converts into a bed, with fresh bedding conveniently stored underneath. The covered outdoor area is the heart of Knotty Acres. Grill dinner, gather around the fire pit, play a game of Jenga, Giant Connect 4 or Cornhole, and enjoy the woods without worrying about the weather. The covered space includes a cast-iron grill, outdoor sink, mini-fridge, seating, warm string lights, and Bluetooth audio with separate indoor and outdoor zones. Guests have full access to the entire RV, including all interior storage areas, the covered outdoor living space, and the outdoor kitchen featuring the grill, sink, and mini refrigerator. There’s plenty of private parking, including ample space for boats and trailers, so you can easily bring your watercraft and enjoy everything Lake Cumberland has to offer.

A quick note: Some exterior storage compartments are kept locked for owner use. Please don’t attempt to open or bypass any locked compartments. Unauthorized entry may result in a $25 charge plus any costs associated with damage to the lock, compartment or its contents. We respect our guests’ privacy and want you to enjoy a relaxing stay.

On occasion, routine property maintenance such as mowing may be necessary during longer stays. If we need to be nearby, we’ll provide a courtesy heads-up whenever possible and work to minimize any interruption to your stay.

As a guest of Knotty Acres Lake Cumberland Basecamp, you'll find barbecue grills, a garden, and laundry facilities. The front desk is open around the clock.
