## Neighborhood

Albufeira offers beaches and lots of restaurants, shops, and bars with everything you need for a great holiday. As it is known for having great nightlife, the old town offers nice bars in the evening, but heading a little bit further to 'The Strip' you will find many bars and big clubs.

If you're not there for the nightlife and you would like to explore a little of the environment, there are many great options. If you have your own transport, there are many great beaches if you head in the direction of Portimão or Lagos.

## Transit

You can easily get around on foot or use public transport or taxi/uber to travel around town. If you wish to explore the larger Algarve area, a hire car is recommended.
