First time staying in this hotel and we had a great stay! Very good value for money. Brilliant selection at breakfast. I requested gluten free bread most mornings and the staff were so helpful. Our room was spacious, warm and cleaned throughly every day. Spa, gym and indoor pool was clean and well equipped. I had an anti stress massage which was amazing. Thank you / obrigada!

This is an excellent hotel with excellent facilities. We had such a nice time during our 4 day stay. The hotel is next to very beautiful Albufeira beach with private access from the hotel. The spa treatments are excellent too. Excellent food. and last but not the least, their staff is so helpful and pleasant. Special mention to Maria João Vieira, she made sure our stay is full of surprises and looked after us alot. We had a 7AM checkout and she made sure we get some breakfast packed for us for our way. Many thanks and we will visit São Rafael Atlântico again in future.

Great hotel the beach behind was lovely, only one toilet at the swimming pools for all the guests men and women which meant there was a que almost all the time

Beautiful location and easy access to the beach.

Such a great and relaxing stay. Only 5 euros to Town. Buffet a bit expensive for some nights. We really enjoyed the Sushi restaurant, the staff is just lovely.

Perfect for a short break.

Lovely hotel, we had a free upgrade to a great room. Good quiet location. Private path to the beach. Nice and warm indoor pool. Use of the spa is 10 euros per day per person but we did not use it. Fantastic buffet breakfast and friendly staff.

Sao Raphael Atlantico

Pros: Clean, good facilities, very laid back and polite staff.
Cons: When people have empty glasses on the roof bar, the waiters should be circulating and asking if people would like another drink - be more proactive
The Hotel is modern and contemporary, great facilities and close to a wonderful beach. The roof terrace is a nice feature but the seating layout contributes to a lack of atmosphere. Plenty of choice at breakfast but getting a "hot" cup of coffee or tea is a challenge. It is a 30 minute downhill walk to the Marina and a further 15 minutes into Old Town Albufeira. If you ask reception to book a taxi to Old Town it is 10 euro, it's 8 euro if you phone your own cab but its 4.50 euro with Uber. 60 euro airport transfer via hotel 30 euro airport transfer in travel agents in Old Town. I would come back again as I have no complaints about the hotel, it is lovely. The swimming pool isn't heated so it is freezing, but so is the sea, you just have to brave it. It is a good base and the Sao Rafael beach is lovely. Next visit to Albufeira I may look to stay in the town itself.

Équipement quelque peu dégradé….lampe wc ,wc chasse d’eau pas ok.miroir salle de bain ko. Table de restaurant tachée. Dans l’ensemble bien pour le reste de l’établissement. Personnel ok.
