Love courtyard marriot but

Bathroom was small. Door would almost hit the toilet. There's was no TV remote in the room. We called the front desk and she said "I'll let them know" and did nothing. So no TV on our stay. Another silly thing, was we had to pay for parking there(Marriot) which we already overpaid for. Check in time was slow, like they were new hires. Come on, at least train them properly.

We chose this location for its close proximity to Balloon Festival, which it was. Requested a remodeled room when I made the reservation, called the hotel before we arrived as we wanted a remodeled room. Requested a remodeled room again at check-in. Our request was not honored, old room, stained carpet, old furniture, bathroom very dated, unruly children playing tag in lobby, no hotel personnel intervened. This is an issue as it is a multistory hotel that has an atrium, sound travels and at 11pm at night? No thank you. Tried to use room service as it is billed as a full service hotel. No answer when we called room service, called the front desk, they told us to go on Bonvoy to order, that part of the app wasn’t functional. Called front desk again, was told go to bar to order. My husband went to bar to order, the menu ringed in the room was not honored, we were told menu being revamped, would not adapt to specific requests, we were only looking for a burger and chicken sandwich, not fine dining. Employees didn’t appear to be trained well. Asked the hotel manager to insure our room was cleaned while we were out, we were gone six hours. Our room wasn’t cleaned. Avoid this hotel.

With the exception of the water in the shower (didn't get hot, just warm) and the fairly small bathroom, the hotel was fine. Free bottled water, and the exercise room was good. We didn't eat there, so can't say anything about that.

The room was clean and impressive. The disappointment is not being able to print or send the receipt via email. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Other than the technical difficulties, I would highly recommend this place.

avoid until renovation are done

they are doing extensive renovations. Makes the location very dusty. Pool is not open. None of this was known when making reservations. when checking in there was no one at front desk. after 10 min of waiting and was able to find a staff member to locate desk manager. The desk manager seemed annoyed that she had to come to the front desk. desk manager mis pronounced my name and I gently corrected. She then proceeded to mispronounce several more times. Seemingly going out of her way to say my name more than necessary just so that she could continue to mispronounce. The room AC were preset to 65 degrees and and the highest fan setting. If you adjusted the setting they reverted back to the presets 30 min later. Called front desk for instructions on how to override the presets. Was told there was no way to do that. As a result, room was freezing and super loud. When checking out the printers were not working. I wanted to confirm all the charges before leaving, was told they could not do that. I think they are in the process of updating which is understandable. I would avoid until renovations are completed

Though the ongoing renovations were obvious, the area was nice, quiet, and clean. Staff member was a pleasure to talk with, kind, and professional. However, the renovated room we checked into had a broken tv (unwatchable) and shower pressure and temperature was poor.

Well first off, I had 2 rooms reserved, but when I arrived they only had me down for one room. Then I was advised that there was a $10 per day parking fee. Which I didn't understand because they have a wide-open uncovered/open parking lot in the front of the Hotel like most hotels and there was NO Valet parking, so I don't understand that per day charge. I was livid but was like oh well, and accepted the fact that I'm being charged for self-parking. Next thing was the TV in one of the rooms did not work. So, after 24hrs we requested to be moved to another room. There's only one exit/entrance to the hotel and they only have (2) elevators. We were on the 8th floor and one of the elevators only went up to the 5th floor for the first 2 days we were there. Finally, as I'm checking out they were about to charge me for 2 cars, after I CLEARLY stated at check-in that we only had ONE car. We drove 11hrs from Central Texas for a family reunion & this is NOT what I expected. We had (3) other groups of family members that were staying at this hotel & experienced similar issues during their stay as well.
