I cannot really give details because I didn't stay due to guest smoking right outside my room. This isn't my vibe, but could be fun for someone who likes it. Just not my style at all. I wouldn't recommend, but staff is professional and courteous.

The room was clean and super cute with the vibrant colors. I loved that they included a black wash towel for makeup users. Their shampoos smell amazing!!! Overall my husband and I enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back soon.

Great Place to Stay

Comfortable bed, clean, modern room, fun, colorful, and zany decor, cool AC. Quiet, also, even though the hotel was full. Coffee in the room, nice robes that feel cozy. The “Hydration Room” has ready made bags of ice for your room as well as a water refill station. Everything was contactless, accessed by various codes. Parking seemed secure but was an extra $12. Didn’t use the pool, but it looked nice. It was great to go to the speakeasy for a late cocktail. Breakfast with a mimosa right across the street at The Farmacy.

Love funky colors and art! Staff was very friendly!! I don’t know about this vip perk thing Expedia talked about but I think it was even better than staff was super friendly and made us welcome. Will stay here again definitely. Pool was deep and warm but not too warm. Bus to UNM/train/old town right outside hotel. Area outside was full of restaurants with great service.

Do not stay here!

Zazz Hotel - Not Worth the Hype or the Hassle If you’re considering booking at Zazz, think twice. They do not allow cancellations under any circumstance, which is frustrating if you end up regretting your choice (as I did). The property is extremely rundown—it shouldn’t even be listed as a hotel. The carpet was filthy, and the entire place felt neglected. On top of that, they charge $12.50 plus tax for parking, and if you don’t pay, you’re forced to park on the street—which felt completely unsafe. Customer service was mixed. A woman of color at the front desk was incredibly rude and unwelcoming—hard to miss her with her COVID mask pulled up to her eyeballs. On the other hand, a polite young man (also a person of color) wearing a gold chain was the only bright spot in an otherwise disappointing experience. I’m leaving out a lot, but please read the one-star reviews on Yelp—they’re accurate. I survived, but barely. Do yourself a favor: pay a little more and stay somewhere that’s actually clean and treats guests with basic courtesy.

I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Zazz. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. I initially booked to stay two nights but extended for another night. The rooms were all colorful and uniquely decorated. Cute pool area and lounge.
