Hotel room had splatters on several walls in the room; one of the shower doors in the bathroom fell completely off the track. Bathroom shower doors looked dirty as did the grout on the bathroom floor. Way overpriced for what we got. Another unit had a dog that was barking outside before 6 a.m. and was barking again when they brought it back into their room.

My boss had rental a lake house for his family and asked my husband and I to join them for Labor Day weekend at Lake Martin. He rented this hotel due to its very convenient location to the house (10min). The hotel was fine. It’s a bit older but clean and the A/C was terrific after a long hot day on the lake. We only ate the free breakfast the last day as we went over to my bosses Lakehouse to eat breakfast every morning. On the last day we grabbed breakfast and it was good. It was also nice to have grab and go bags to take with us for our trip back home. They had a bottle of water, an apple, a bagel, a napkin, and some jelly and peanut butter in each bag. They seemed a bit stingy with the towels in the room, wish we didn’t have to ask for more everyday. They only were servicing rooms every other day so on our Sunday-Wednesday stay we didn’t get service at all (which seems like we should have gotten serviced on Tuesday since we checked in on Sunday and checked out on Wednesday morning). Overall I would stay here again due to the cleanliness and the convenience to the Lake and local places.

The Hampton Inn was very clean and neat with a wonderful variety at their breakfast option. There was a problem when we checked in and 2 credit cards were charged instead of one. Monique was very professional and, hopefully one of the cards will be refunded.

Traveling for wedding. Rachel was phenomenal! She was able to get us checked in and in our room with efficiency and a smile. Room was clean and super roomy. We had a room with king bed. Room had fridge and microwave. A little dated but clean and comfortable.

All is fine but I do not underestimate hotel rooms now. Lighting is so sparse. Ridiculous. The bath has one light and it is not even over the sink and mirror.

No Ice machines working in entire Hotel!

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Facility very clean. Breakfast area exceptionally clean. However, my main complaint was none of the ice machines worked in the building. NO ICE!!! Breakfast bar apples were old and there was nothing but whole milk available. No skim or low fat.
