Fun overnight stay

My mom and I traveled in for an overnight stay to catch up with a friend that was in town for the weekend. There were large groups and basketball teams there for the weekend and they accommodated all. The hotel was under construction but it hardly noticed. Every encounter with staff was great, all were so friendly, courteous and helpful. Hotel has reasonable food and bar/drink options if you dont want to leave, but also has so many choices nearby. A comfortable, clean, friendly place to stay!

I do have to safe that our room was clean! Arriving to the hotel was a little rough. There was a man pushing his cart high and walking in the road. Parking was not fun as it is in between another hotel and a Red Robin. The outside if the hotel isn’t the cleanest nor is the front area where you check in. Staff was okay. Not very friendly and the two evenings we came back to the room they were lounging on the couch on their phones. When checking out we were asked how it was. When told we didn’t have any hot water she acted as if I was lying. Water was not hot at all. More like cold with a splash of warm on occasions. Toilet handle was busted and so was the tile piece in front of the toilet. Again the room was clean so the cleaning ladies were on point but customer service and the rest of the hotel for me could have been better.

It was a little frustrating that the property is under renovation. It would have been nice to have known before hand. The gym was not open and the lobby was in disarray, but tidy. The room was clean and smelled nice. The halls were were clean. I would stay here again

I usually like Hilton Garden Inns, but this one was not great. I code it because it was right off the highway, but it was still hard to get to. It was full the one night I stayed, and the small parking lot was crowded. The facility was being renovated so the gym and pool areas were not accessible. One of the reasons I chose this property was for its amenities. I could not get my digital key app to work. When I went to the front desk the person did not acknowledge me for some time because she was busy looking at her phone. When she did finally look up she said she was not the normal front desk attendant she was just there while the other employee was finishing dinner. She had no clue how to help me with accessing my room. All in all not the best experience
