We had an amazing family get-together at this property. We were 12 all together . The grownups all had their own room and the kids LOVED the bunk beds .. Kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked ,all we brought was our food Kids loved the campfires and the adults enjoyed the hot tub. I highly recommend this property ..
This was an amazing rentalâperfect for a multi-generational family trip. Close to Jackson and Grand Teton NP, but away from the crowd. Loved the hot tub, loft, fire pit, and pooo/ping pong table. Hummingbirds and raspberries in the front garden!
There was 12 of us all adults, plenty of rooms, super comfortable, great view of the mountains for sunset, boys played ping pong all night. Right across the street was horse back riding which was amazing. Grocery store close by, an hour drive to downtown Jacksonhole. Kitchen was nice and big plenty of table space for everyone. We really enjoyed our stay and would 100% stay here again! After my wedding ceremony in the Grand Tetons we hired a chef to come in and cook dinner for us. It was beautiful on the porch
Our stay was very enjoyable, it was right down the road from my sisterâs house in Salt Cove. My grandchildren loved playing pool and ping pong, they also relaxed in the hot tube after a hard day at the National Parks. I would recommend this property for a large family.
This cabin is in a prime location surrounded by absolutely stunning views of the surrounding mountains. The driving distance for sight seeing wasn't bad in any direction. The cabin was very spacious and accommodating, the dual kitchens were amazing to have, as with a big family, you have a lot of food to store. The kids loved having a pool table and a ping pong table. The hot tub was a great bonus especially after a long day of hiking and exploring. The deck was perfect, especially for when you want to just sit and watch the sunset over the mountains creating a picturesque painting of the sky. Though there were many positives to our stay, there were also some negatives. We were unable to check in at the time listed on our check in instructions sheet until 40 min after due to the cleaning crew. The local contact was near impossible to get a hold of. The basement, where half of the living space is located, flooded (at no fault to the owner) due to clogged pipes within the first 10 hours of being there, which was determined and fixed by a plumber after staff under the local caretaker came and tried to snake themselves. A full day of vacationing was lost due to staying back for the plumber to get the issue fixed. The rest of the week was spent stepping over fans or walking around wet carpeting to get to the bedrooms/bathroom in the basement as it was all drying out. The co-owner/spouse were very helpful and kind in trying to help remedy the situation and cleanup.
The house is a big cabin and absolutely perfect for a big group. We had 16 people, age range 5-77 and we had plenty of sleeping and lounging space. The deck had a gorgeous view of mountains and valley. We used the hot tub every day which helped ease the muscles from all our hiking and exploring and also provided a beautiful view of the stars at night. We had a fire pit night which was fun for all. The kitchen and dining area had plenty of seating and we had all the kitchen accessories needed to make big family meals each night. The beds were comfy with plenty of pillows and blankets. We did have two teenage boys sleep in the loft area and that worked great, we put two of the box fans up there and that blocked out noise so they could sleep in the mornings. We had a family ping pong tournament and lots of laughs. We did Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, white water rafting, golf, exploring local Alpine fishing and hiking, shopping in Jackson Hole, and horse back riding. There is something for everyone. Wonderful week and would highly recommend this property for anyone who wants to experience Wyoming without the crowds.
We had a great time at this house. There was a lot of room to spread out with a great kitchen and a great view. We enjoyed the pool table in the second living area downstairs and the hot tub on the porch.
We only had a few minor inconveniences, including light switches and heat - so many switches and thermostats, and they seemed to work inconsistently (we never could figure out how to turn on the porch lights!). Labels or some sort of instruction book on how to operate things in the house wouldâve been nice.
One of the trash cans was not emptied when we arrived, but the rest of the house was very clean. We also found that not enough supplies were provided for a house meant to sleep so many.. while they provided a lot of blankets, which was great, we did run out of toilet paper, paper towels, and dish soap pretty quickly and had to buy our own.
The town of Alpine is really small, so this house would be great for anyone looking for some quality downtime at the house with family or friends. The drive to Jackson was about an hour, so not too bad, but not close enough to make the drive frequently.
Overall, Iâm glad we stayed here and weâd stay again!
Very nice! Description of home was accurate. Lots of space for our big family to spread out. The bottom end room with queen bed was quite cold but had two big warm blankets. Check in process was easy. Enjoyed our time in this home. Thank you for making it available.
Family Reunion...East Coast, Colorado Meet in Alpine!
The location in Alpine...just 90 minutes to Jenny Lake, Grand Teton National Park and the Jackson Hole Airport...was very convenient. The 1-hour ride to Jackson Town Square, the rodeo grounds, gondola rides, shopping, hiking and horseback riding trails was not too far on days we chose to leave the cabin. The summer sunsets and mountain scenery were spectacular viewed from the large wrap-around porch. My four children, their spouses and 7 grandchildren (ages 4-24!) loved the log cabin, the loft, the ping-pong table, the 2 huge TVs, the hot tub and fire pit. The 3 remodeled bathrooms, 3 king beds, 3 queen beds, double bunk bed and a sofa bed provided enough sleeping space for each family and our adult grandchildren to have some privacy. The beds were equipped with good quality linens, extra pillows and blankets. The 2 kitchens were better equipped with utensils, pots, blender, and other cooking aids than I ever expected. My husband and I own a small rental apartment ourselves and were very careful in selecting Aspen Bear Paws. We also looked carefully at cleanliness and the amenities provided. We realize that cleaning, turning and maintaining a home this large is difficult, especially when there's 6 hours between renters to change all the beds and get the space cleaned. However, we did notice a few things that need attention when there is time and I will address these privately with the owners. We had a wonderful time and recommend this property to large families like ours!
Wasn't cleaned when we got there and the Netflix and streaming services all logged out
Once I called it all got fixed and we enjoyed the rest of our stay trouble free. House was exactly as pictured and expected, worked great for a home base to explore Jackson hole and tetons.
I loved the house and would stay there again. We were hiking in Grand Tetons and the drive to the park was a little long (about 1-1.5 hours depending on where in the park we we went.) Only complaint was when we arrived the hot tub smelled a bit funky. The host came out first thing the next morning to drain and clean it.
