Dated but excellent stay

Very nervous checking in as the property is pretty dated, but the room despite not enough wall plugs or USb plugs and a broken cabinet closet was excellent, clean and comfortable. The coffe and breakfast were great and all the staff was very kind and helpful

Quick stay on way home from trip;hotel itself was clean and comfortable; nice staff. However, several abandoned buildings right outside the property. Even a man sleeping on a concrete pillar at an abandoned gas station!

Overbooked rooms?

Room was ok, needs to be updated. Not having an elevator was not expected. Had to haul all the luggage up and back down two flights of stairs. Two different people tried to use their key to get into our room. Both said that they were booked to stay in the same room number as us. Also it was noisy .

Rick was very helpful and asked us personally how everything was while we had breakfast. This was on our return trip and the check-in and room was do much better. We would stay again.

Great stay for the price

The room was clean. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. AC worked great. The water pressure was excellent. The staff were very friendly. The breakfast was really good, too. I had just as nice a stay there as much more expensive hotels. Will definitely stay there again. P.s. the Dennys a few doors down is worth the short walk.

Convenient on and off

Very convenient on and off of I-40 in either direction extremely guiet for being on i-40, with plenty of restaurants nearby. The rooms and building are clean and comfortable.

A basic hotel/motel without much frills. Check in was fast and friendly. Room is clean and comfortable. Everything works. Fairly easy walk to several restaurants (the better ones are on the north side of the freeway). Gave it 5 stars because of its good value and friendly/helpful staff.

The location is nice - just off the freeway, but it’s next door to a derelict hotel. This hotel does not have an elevator and all king rooms are on the second floor. The doors stuck and made terrible noises when we opened them. The clerk was very friendly and eventually assigned us rooms next door to each other. We didn’t try breakfast as it takes place in the main lobby. The lobby smelled so strongly of disinfectant that we didn’t want to eat with the strong odor.
