Absolutely amazing stay here! The staff were brilliant calling everyone by name. Breakfast was lovely and a great selection of cooked food to order. Could not have stayed anywhere better! Highly recommend and we will definitely be returning!

Very convenient location with parking and a good breakfast. Comfy bed, the room was a bit dated and the shower was quite small but it wasn’t a problem for us.
My recent stay at this hotel was an awful experience. We discovered the bed was completely broken on our first night, leaving my pregnant wife to sleep on the floor. This was unacceptable and dangerous.
The negative experience continued the next morning at breakfast. A staff member handed me a plate that was dangerously hot. When I pointed this out, she refused to apologize and blamed us, claiming she had warned us—which she had not. No plate should ever be hot enough to pose a burn risk to a customer.
Other issues only added to our disappointment:
Hairs were left in the bathtub.
The broken bed creaked loudly all night.
We waited 15 minutes to check in.
The room smelled strongly of bleach and had no full-length mirror.
Noise from outside the room was constant and loud.
While the location was convenient, that was the only positive aspect. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
Friendly greeting. Helpful staff. Good breakfasts. Clean. Good position for getting about in the town and easy access to buses. Easy to find with free parking.
A few small niggles we fed back to the B&B. No big issues.

Breakfast was the high point of the stay. Our room was a big cupboard. 6 yards by 3 1/2 yards. One broom cupboard for a wardrobe. No stowage for clothes so had to live out of a suitcase. Hand luggage had to be stored in the shower room. Mouldy window frames need to be sorted. Not an ideal stay for our four nights. We felt like the poor relations. My wife cried on arrival and wanted to go straight home. A nightmare. On the plus side. The staff were friendly and obliging. The location was perfect. In other words, avoid room 6. Highly overpriced for what we had. Perhaps other rooms were better but we stuck it out.
Property was very beautiful and well maintained. Loved the ambience, staff and breakfast. Room had all the required amenities and we enjoyed our time at the property.
What a lovely stay in a beautiful location, dog friendly which really helped. Special mention to Joanna who was so personal and couldn’t do enough for us. Remembering names and being a superb host. We absolutely will be back to stay

Fabulous friendly and accommodating staff. Incredible hearty breakfast options. Accommodation incredibly quiet leading to a restful nights sleep. Guest parking on site in the heart of the village. Would definitely return.
