Lovely weekend trip to Amsterdam!

Pros: - Cleanliness - Location to tram network - Location from airport - Features
Me and my partner booked a weekend trip to Amsterdam for her birthday; have to say it was a brilliant weekend for sure! Staying at the Dutch Design Artemis Hotel, we arrived in Amsterdam and after some confusion with the Connexxion Shuttle-bus, we finally got to the hotel. The staff at the hotel were brilliant, fluent in many languages and helped us check in relatively quickly from our evening flight in via KLM from Birmingham. We ate out each evening so can't say we tried the food at the hotel, however we did find the breakfast a little pricey for what you would have received! Our room was a Queen bed room, which we must say had all the necessary features for a nice trip, including a simple to use shower/bathroom and safe/fridge for storing valuables and drinks etc. It is about a 8-10 minute walk to the next Tram stop, which is great for taking you in and out of the City Centre (we bought a pass for 72 hours which was definitely worth the money!) Overall I would give the hotel an 8/10, it was a bit costly however the trip as a whole was, Amsterdam is quite expensive to spend time in doing all the trips and experiences so make sure you get some spending money! Would definitely recommend the hotel to others, primarily business professionals but cater for all involved.
