Staff didn't know what a rubber plug for sinkwas?

Staff didn't know what a rubber plug for the bathroom sink was !!! We were offered 3 pin electric plugs !!!! We were not told we had to ask for housekeeping so our room was not cleaned . There wasn't an electric kettle until we asked for one . We don't drink coffee . Not enough staff on reception. Very very dismal and dark in room. Better lighting required.We have been travelling for over 50 years and stayed at many hotels including Leonardo. This wasn't a pleasant trip at all. Bad reception on TV couldn't watch any English channels only CNN. Margaret Frewer JP

Very disappointing four night stay. Basic room and small considering it was ‘deluxe’ and over £250 per night. Room only cleaned once over four days and only some towels replaced, soap not topped up and not cleaned or vacuumed. Breakfast room was too small for number of guests and food kept running out, tables not cleared for 20-30mins after guests left. Flys over everything. Would not recommend even for a one night stay.

Disappointing

Staff downstairs were lovely but in the breakfast area it was understaffed and a couple of them kept promising things but didn’t deliver. There was fried eggs on the first day but on the second and third there wasn’t any. A lot of the mini pancakes were burnt. I often had to ask for cups or bowls etc.. It’s way too expensive considering what you actually get. The pillows were lumpy and uncomfortable. The bed was quite hard too

Everything about this property was great. Nice rooms and I had a great view of the park. My only problem for most of the trip was trying to get my sink unclogged. That wasn’t as easy as it should have been. But other then that a great hotel

A good location with some small issues

The hotel is really nice and in a good location the pick and drop off is a nice feature . Pre checkin helped alot. They upgraded us which is nice. However the idea that you don't clean unless you get in touch I don't think is great as the towels are thin and small if you don't clean or at least are able to dry them it becomes an issue. I did use the app to request a clean but this didn't happen. Also I managed to contract a stomach bug(gastroenteritis) I'm not sure where from but the cleanliness of the room would have helped.

Great location if ur kooking for peace and quiet from the central activities and the transport is very frequent and convenient Most of the staff are excellent some do look at you funny Great top floor bar and open roof But the only negitive is they dont have mini fridge in their rooms

Excellent friendly staff they were always ready to help. The down side of the hotel is that it was quite away out of central Amsterdam you have to walk about 10 min to nearest tram stop then a good 25 min ride.

Located in a quiet part of Amsterdam, but easy to get into the centre on the tram which stops right outside the hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean and beds comfortable. The breakfast buffet is great and the view on the 17th floor is stunning.
