Front desk clerks were friendly, the room was on the ground floor which was very convenient and there was no disturbance from the canal side. Maybe due to it being weekdays and rainy weather. Very convenient location to food, attractions and shopping. What didn’t go well was the waitress at the hotel restaurant on the first night. The restaurant was basically empty with about three other patrons. We sat and she brought over menus without uttering a word. We waited and waited and waited then finally after realizing she was not coming back we got up and left. Unfortunately we had to report the incident. The front desk clerk was extremely apologetic and compt our breakfast for our entire stay. It was not a pleasant experience for a first time brown skinned visitor to Amsterdam. Otherwise the stay was excellent. The breakfast was great and the other hotel staff we encountered were very friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent location, rooms quite small but OK. Expect a quite steep stairs in your room. Breakfast is quite simple, don’t expect anything extra. Also service is a little bit slow at breakfast time. Concierge and Reception services are outstanding, people working there are very polite, quick and helpful.

Outstanding and extraordinary

Będą were very comfortable. Rooms not so small - I stayed in Brussels in the same hotel chain and the rooms were smaller. Staff was absolutely devoted and listening to all my needs. They went up and beyond. Extremely kind. Breakfast - whatever you can dream of and more. If I ever go to Amsterdam I won’t think twice where to stay. Thanks!
