Paid premium to get a corner suite with a good view of greenery. However I got a horrible view of the building roof. And whatever I could see was mainly the road adjacent to the hotel. Even during check-in I reiterated and the front desk confirmed the view of that of the barn, however to my utter surprise it turned out to be a blatant lie. I went back to the front desk and asked for a change (also asked them I am ok to downgrade the room size for a better view). However they were fully booked so I ended up staying at one of their worst rooms while paying the highest for it. Really dissapointing and for sure me or anyone from my company will NEVER go back to this place again.

Shuttle from the airport was very convenient, but if you plan on going into Amsterdam it’s at least a 30 minute Uber or Taxi ride and very expensive. There isn’t anyone to help with luggage. We are traveling with my 80 year old Mother and my two Aunt’s so my husband had to take care of all our luggage. Not what we’d expect from a Marriott Brand Hotel. There is absolutely nothing around the Hotel so you are stuck eating in their restaurant and when we were here it was absolutely understaffed!!!! We ended up writing out our own order on a piece of paper and taking it to the bar to be ordered. There was another couple that said they had eaten there the night before and they didn’t think the service could be any worse, but they were wrong it was just as bad. Once we got our meal some had to be sent back because it was cold. On the plus side our room was very clean and most rooms are very close to the elevator.

Lovely dinner and breakfast. Spacious bedroom, toiletries to calm your senses before a peaceful night. Can also literally count sheep, as you can see some sheep, lambs and even bunnies in green surroundings just outside your window. Only high ratings.

bad dinner expereince but amazing hotel

The restaurant dinner experience was abysmal. We waited forever to order, and the food was such a small portion and it cost so much. Aside from that, amazing hotel! Just don't go to their restaurant and it's a 5 star hotel. Btw- great breakfast.

Pizza ordered from the restaurant menu wasn't to my tastes, the burger and chips was spectacular, along with the sweet potato fries, we ordered regularly from the restaurant to take away because we wanted that quality time in our room, each time it was placed in takeaway boxes we then had to ask for additional plates (it would have made more sense to plate this up and provide us with a tray) luckily the last time we ordered from the restaurant they automatically plated this up and provided us with a tray which was really nice along with sauces, we were well looked after (next time I would expect the staff to ask guests what they want, whether they want a takeaway box or plated up, this would help) Front house manager was very kind and understanding At the moment we are still currently awaiting our authorisation charge placed on both debit and credit cards (wasnt advised by check in staff at the time that we needed a credit card for the authorisation charge and tax. We used both our debit cards which didn't go through, we were then advised we needed a credit card, which was later used, this caused delay and frustration, please ensure guests are aware before any cards are used, we were not told we needed to use a credit card to start with, if we did, this would have been used, sadly 2 debit cards and 1 credit card was used which we are now still waiting for the money to come back to the cards, I have since had to buy a international calling app to call the hotel directly

The worst restaurant in.amsterdam

The restaurant food was disgusting staff pathetic sorry little school boy waiter serving garbage didnt even know if steak was grilled or baked we almost keeled over laughing served a crap cold meal cooked by very low grade kitchen staff breakfast about same marriott close your restaurant and fire the staff
