Great hotel

Fantastic hotel.10 minutes away from everything. Grab a 3 day travel card and you can use bus/tram/train/ferry. Bus no 22 takes you to and from hotel. Staff really polite and friendly. Hotel room clean.Theres funky art everywhere.Buffet breakfast was included,so that set you up for the day, dinner menu was limited,but we dinned in one night and the food was delicious. I would definitely stay again and recommend this hotel to everyone

lovely hotel, would recommend!

We booked this hotel for our first trip to Amsterdam, the room decor was something we'd never seen in a hotel before! Everything about this hotel was great, the reception staff gave us a warm welcome.. asking if we'd been to Amsterdam before to which we replied no. she then proceeded to ask us if we knew how to get to the central station. which we thought was very helpful. The room was clean, bright and spacious with air con. Would definitely recommend this hotel because even though its a bus ride away from central Amsterdam the bus journey is only 10 minutes or so and the buses are frequent.

Lovely hotel

Pros: A bit out of town so in a quiet place but so easy to get into town
Cons: nothing that I could see
Location: as I've said hotel is out of town but bus's stop close by, about 5-10 min's walk there are places to eat etc
We arrived at the hotel around !-30pm,first impressions lovely and clean,we had booked 2 double room's adjoining if possible,booking in was good, we were told only 1 room was ready the other wouldn't be long and it was ready within 20 minutes, very clean looking rooms and next to each other,2 single bed's together,bathroom spacious,walk in shower,plenty of towel's,toiletries etc. Although a bit of a way out of the city centre which is what we wanted,there is a bus a number 22 from central station which stop's about 4 min walk from the hotel both going into town and coming back to hotel,we got a 48hr bus (blue) pass from the reception which enabled us to travel anywhere on the blue buses and trams anytime and whenever,bus's to the hotel ran every 20 mins until the late evening then every hour throughout the night, We didn't eat in the hotel but you could if you wanted and coffee etc available any time, also coffee maker and kettle in your room. All in all a very enjoyable stay and would recommend this hotel

Great couples retreat

The hotel is beautifully decorated and the room was so bright, clean and comfortable. The pillows were amazing and we both slept really well. There is a garage opposite and a grocery shop 10 minutes walk up the road so you can fill up on wine and snacks. The bus stop outside allows easy access to the city centre and the staff are really helpful. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Excellent Birthday Getaway

I stayed here for 3 nights for my birthday with two friends. It was a great surprise to find the extra room after we thought one of us would have to sleep on the sofa. The hotel is a short bus ride away from Central Station and a bus pass is very cheap. The staff are all extremely nice and helpful and the rooms were cleaned excellently every day. We were also allowed to leave our bags at the hotel after check out because out flight wasn't until the evening. All in all a wonderful 3 days. Great location and great customer service!! I am very grateful to everyone who helped us throughout our stay.

1st time single trip to Dam

Hotel is very clean, unique and quiet. When you arrive at schipol airport take a train to centraal station. Exit the station and look for the bus stop. The bus you need is 22 - station slovinkjk. Get off at hem point and the hotel will be across the road. This trip will be about 10 mins. And the bus comes every 10 mins. Well up to 1100 pm All in all as a great trip staff and facilities were fantastic. Hotel is very secure and very quiet with nice size rooms. What's great is the hotel is in a quiet part but the town centre is very easily reached. Do not take takis they are extosonate and do not use the hop on hop off bus tours. You can by a 24 48 72 HR travel card from reception. This is a fantastic hotel and will definitely be back.

Great hotel for short break

The hotel is a short bus ride from Central Station so a good base for day trippers. The staff were friendly and helpful at all times and made the stay relaxed and pleasant. The hotel itself has a funky modern vibe and all the facilities you would expect for the price band. A friendly bar offers a basic but well prepared menu and is a pleasant dining experience. Would use the hotel again and recommend to those who don't want the hustle bustle of a city centre location.

Decent base: Out of the thick of it

Comfortable room, nice clean hotel with friendly, competent staff. Quiet location, out of the hustle and bustle of the central areas. Great base for a cultural visit, but you'd better like public transport or you'll spend a fortune on taxis.
