Good food, sleep quality so-so

Room was clean and tidy and well looked after, staff were friendly, bar food was good value for money and tasty. Overall experience let down by, as previous reviewers have stated, paper thin walls. You can hear every sound room the neighbouring rooms.

Couldn't sleep due to noise from other rooms. Walls were like paper. Had to walk through a damp corridor to get to our room. Very odd setup. Do not stay there!!

Bed was so hard we could hardly sleep on it.

Great staff, shame the rest of the hotel wasn't at the same standard. The bed was the hardest i have ever encountered and we both found it difficult to sleep in. Bathroom tiles had masking tape to cover the cracks and the toilet roll holder was hanging off! Shower pull tap came off in your hand and the lamps in the bedroom didn't work. Overall not somewhere I would return in a hurry.

In need of a bit of love & attention!

Stayed here for only one night so this Hotel provided us with an adaquate room with absolutely no view & breakfast (Eventually). Which is fine for the price but is not a place we would particularly rush back to! You get good ammentities in the rooms, Hairdryer, Tea coffee Etc but the communal areas in particular need decorating and new carpets. Having to wait 20 mins for a table to have a buffet breakfast was a first !! Food was again adequate but avoid the coffee- worst I have had in years! Reminded us a bit of a certain sitcom except the staff did work very hard. Good location for the town.
