Family Weekend Stay

Property was exactly as advertised. Kitchen was well stocked. Location was great, walked to restaurants and shops everyday. Internet and tv were not working and management followed up quickly yo get it fixed. I would suggest more bath towels. The boat lift on the dock was positioned low so we had to carefully tie our boat not to hit it. If it was raised up this could have been prevented. Overall lovely property and would stay again.

Beautiful island, terrible company

I’d give zero stars if I could. For starters they called us 30 minutes before check in and told us the pool was broken and we’d be unable to use it (then offered us passes to some random public pool) and told me she’d call me back to let me know about refunding any of the money we paid for a house with a private pool. Over 30 minutes pass and there’s no call back, I had to call twice and finally the last girl put me through to the manager. All of this to find out that they knew there was an issue with the pool A WEEK before we arrived and didn’t bother communicating that 30 minutes before check in BUT the pool wasn’t actually broken just a function that didn’t really affect anything at all, the first girl just never bothered to read the pool techs notes. So over an hour of multiple phone calls and stress for nothing - BUT when i had asked to be transferred to a house with a working pool (they had several available) I was told that wasn’t possible and only a partial refund would be given if the pool wasn’t functional but they couldn’t tell me exactly house much it would even be. Luckily it never came to that but this place seems very sketchy in how they operate their business since they also emailed be a few weeks before the trip to tell me to add trip insurance when I already had it. I told them that but they insisted I didn’t - luckily I had my initial receipt as proof and they dropped it. The heater also barely works in the pool and would often push out ice cold water. The house was pretty but VERY dated especially for what they’re charging and the beds are OLD so old you springs poking you in the back. There’s many other options available and I highly recommend giving another company that actually cares about their guests your money.

Piscina no funcionaba

La piscina estaba sucia y no funcionaba el cambio de agua. Entramos un domingo, ponen en marcha el cambio de agua un miércoles, limpian la piscina el jueves y salimos el de la casa el såbado. Ademås los alrededores de la la piscina no estaban limpios había hasta zapatos de otros clientes. La tapicería de los muebles estaba regular de limpieza. La alarma, no entendemos cuål es el objetivo, si es por seguridad, las puertas de acceso desde la piscina no tenían. Todo lo demås muy bien.

Wonderful,, Beautiful and fantastic management!

We had a wonderful experience- This house is much more beautiful in real life than the photos!! The location is on the prettier, quieter side of the island— The heater in the pool went out midway through our trip- the weather was cooler so we REALLY missed having a heated pool- BUT- the property managers stayed on top of the issue- communication was fantastic- (it was fixed our last day
). The heated pool breaking was not the fault of property management - and AMI locals were always ready to help. (Example- the first day we got there- I couldn’t figure out the tv remotes — I called- and 30 minutes later- someone was there and helped me through that- and Ta- dah- . working TVs. ! Super clean! This was by far the nicest VRBO I’d ever stayed at- considering the property, cleanliness, management, communication, amenities (although a FEW more basics would have been helpful 
. Like including at least a single Washing machine detergent (one of our kids thew up the vry first night (motion sick from the flight) , and we weren’t able to do any laundry til the next morning) 
 but otherwise - amazing$

Paradise on Anna Maria

This property is actually nicer than it is portrayed on websites. Clean, comfortable and lovely. Conveniently located. Dock, deck and rooftop lookout are only a few of the areas that make this property so appealing. Hopefully we will have the opportunity to return sometime soon.

Enjoyable Stay!

This property was enjoyable to our group with plenty of space for everyone. We had a party of 7 with 5 kids which, of course, all needed their own space. We were surprised when we arrived and found the "4th level" sun deck. I am not sure if this was a new addition but it appeared to be. Great views from up there! We would come back again for sure.

AMI vacation

House was very spacious. Family enjoyed the house and all amenities. We had noticed a problem with the washing machine what we thought to be unbalanced. However it was not, it had moved to the point we were unable to open the laundry room door. The realty company came and inspected at which point they had to intervene. Other than that slight problem we enjoyed everything about the property and location.

Blue Turtle Paradise

Blue Turtle is spacious enough for you & family but also cozy. Close walking distance to beach & stores, yet away from hustle bustle. Pool area is awesome with landscaping to provide privacy, fun & relaxation. At the pool we swam, chatted, read books & took naps. We also took advantage of the dock to relax & read. We saw nature & boats & actually saw a manatee swim right by us! Beautiful creatures they are. Home is tastefully appointed with beach flair added. Next to the kitchen is tv sitting area where we watched a few movies together after beautiful day at beach & pool. Beach/pool chairs & floats appreciated to add to our beach/pool experience. We also used the grill several times to cook dinner at home. It's nice to float & relax while dinner is cooking! Large refrigerator for all our needs. The beds-SO COMFY! My family mentioned they never had such a good nice sleep away from home. Our trip included Memorial Day weekend. We took the short walk up to Anna Maria park to attend a service which included recognizing the branches of military service & sacrifices. Service included an orchestra which played military music pieces beautifully. Our family loves the island and staying at Blue Turtle added to our memorable family experience. Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise with us. We look forward to our next visit & making more family memories!

our first visit to AMI and we really enjoyed the north end of the island

This is a very lovely home and I would have given more stars however we had a mold issue which was a large 6x10foot area in the ceiling of the garage which we were concerned was black mold- I did bring it to the attention of the rental agency but no mold expert came while we were there. The musty smell in the guest room above was very noticeable and we were unable to get rid of the odor. I was concerned it was a health issue but i'm no expert so I did leave a day early. It would have been nice to see more of the lagoon from the house as my 87 yo father-in-law doesn't ambulate well and I thought he would enjoy looking at the water and boats going by. Loved the kitchen and the showers, the location is great for getting to the bay or gulf side and being close to shops. We didn't get to enjoy the pool as I'd hoped- the weather was cool and the pool temp was around 80 at best but I'm sure we would have loved it if the water or air temp were warmer!

False advertising

Multiple pictures advertising home included a spa/hot tub. After arriving, found out the spa/hot tub was not a functional unit. I would have never rented this house in January if they would have started the spa/hot tub is non functional.
