Garden Beach Hotel - Location! Location! Location!

The saving grace for this hotel is that it is located in a prime position in the heart of Juan les Pins and on the beachfront. The hotel is a little "tired looking" and the rooms, whilst ok and "basic", are well below the " 4* luxury" standards we travellers expect. Wardrobe space was poor and awkward, and the bed mattress was way too soft. Expect to pay for everything you use, whether breakfast at a hefty €25 Euro each, or €20-€35 Euro each per day for rather uncomfortable, unpadded and uncomfortable loungers on their modest sized beach area. Food is expensive here, with €8.00 Euro for a 1 litre bottle of water from their beach restaurant. With room prices at rather high levels even for Juan, they make no concessions for guests to use their facilities, with even a charge to use their multi gym area. Wifi is free, however, but is annoying as a login is required each time you log on. The hotel is also used for weddings and functions, and they set no standards for noise abatement throughout the early hours. The management are unresponsive to complaints about the noise at night from their own bar and beach areas (between 1.00am and 6.00am) and if you are looking for a peaceful night's sleep - look elsewhere. It is only the location of the hotel that makes it really desirable. Tip: Go over the road to the "Sweet Café" for French breakfast @: €7.50 or English Breakfast €10.50, and eat at the many other good restaurants throughout Juan. Don't use their beach - a 5 minute walk opens up several other "pay" beaches where for between €17 and €20 Euro per day you can enjoy a thick padded lounger and a more reasonably priced beach restaurant & bar. Overall, we had a good holiday, mainly due to the charms and vibrancy of Juan les Pins and the surrounding area.

All Inclusive mentality sold as 4 star

Made a mistake in hurry and booked this 4 star hotel. In reality a all inclusive mentality and nightmare experience, here are few from 2 night stay; 1. No minibar, not even water in room 2. 80% of room service menu not available in reality 3. Rooms cleaned by 6PM!! after 4 times complaining only rude answers how much they have work and it is sunday 4. Constant knocking on room door, regardless if it is not disturb or not, simply saying yes and not delivering whatever You ask. 5. Of course no English but thats ok in region I am sure it could have been value for money IF they sell some 1000 USD week all inclusive holidays but for 300 EUR /Night is just rip off

Great beach holiday with buzz

Wonderful position as so central in Juan les Pins - entrance right by the jazz square. Also, one of the few hotels on the beach with direct access. Crowded in July but great holiday atmosphere. Not cheap as everything is charged extra but there are many good restaurants nearby.

very dissappointing

Personally checked with hotel to explain I was travelling with my 20 year old daughter and was told no prob. for two beds .Shambles on checking in, no one with authority at check in (6pm) ,only one double bed in room, sent our luggage to wrong room, asked us to go and have dinner while they sorted it.Tv didn't have any English channel working and we were told the Satellite was down for maybe a few weeks, the loo seat was broken and they left our luggage in some other bedroom.No apologies from anyone.Beach 35 euros for a sunbed and the beach restaurant was the same limited menu for lunch and dinner every day.We were there for a week and if I hadn't paid up front and non refundable I would have checked out. Very very average and will definitely not be reccommending it.

Wir hatten ein Deluxe-Zimmer mit Balkon gebucht. Bekommen haben wir ein Zimmer ohne Balkon, Teppich hatte Löcher etc. An der Rezeption hiess es wir müssten bei ebookers reklamieren!! Wir werden nicht mehr über ebookers buchen.
