Great place to stay! It looks just like the pictures, and ended up feeling even bigger than we anticipated. It had everything we needed for our quick stay. Highly recommend!Only note - the driveway does have some big ruts, but they were not a problem for at least a Subaru forester.
We had a wonderful stay here for our visit to Arden! The house is very charming and the host was exceptionally communicative and accommodating! Will definitely be staying here for our next trip to Arden!
Enjoyed a long weekend with my mom. We were close to all the things she wanted to do, which made it easy to get her places. Beautiful home to stay in; great place to relax
We have family at a senior community, so weâre always looking for a place to stay nearby that will accommodate our family of three and our dog when we come to town for a visit. This fit the bill perfectly! The house is very comfortable and nicely decorated, and although itâs small, the fenced yard adds to the pet friendliness.
The house was clean and had all the comforts of home. The yard out back is enclosed and kept our two dogs contained. The road leading to the driveway is unpaved with huge ruts and we were grateful to have a vehicle that sat up higher. There are black walnut trees that overhang the driveway and drop walnuts but we were lucky one didnât fall while we were driving in and out as thereâs no way to avoid going under them.
The current condition of the driveway should have been included with the description of the house. The yard is VERY small. Kudos to the person who took the pictures of this property. You made the outside area look great.
Cozy place to rest and work. Being south of Asheville was new to us. Not as glitzy as other areas around Asheville, but great access to several of the big MTB trails system. A number of the popular downtown restaurants have sister restaurants in the area. Only negative we experienced was renting as dog friendly and finding a tree across the fenced off yard. Hopefully the owner gets that fixed so you can feel good about leaving your dog out unattended for a few minutes.
Well-appointed and charming house with all the comforts of home with plenty of space. Convenient to Arden and Asheville. Strong wifi is a definite plus. Furniture was comfortable and the gas fireplace was so cozy. Only minor complaint I have is the fenced area is a bit smaller than portrayed in the photos, and there is a creek around back that we only found out about not long after letting our dog out after the long drive from FL - bathtime! Also, the back porch has a crawl space that we wish had been secured to keep the dog from going underneath. Otherwise, it felt like home. We would definitely stay again when back in town!
Les points faibles : Emplacement et exactitude de lâannonce
The house itself was okay but the property around it was not. The "driveway" and "road" leading to the house is an absolute disaster. The aerial photo of the home on the website has absolutely no resemblance to what the property actually looks like. The landscaping of the property is less than stellar and it looks like the lawn hasn't been mowed yet this spring.
Les points faibles : Communication et emplacement
Nice house but has issues
Very nice decorative house. We rented it for the jet bathtub so we could enjoy the muscle therapy. The jets never worked and communicated this to owner. Their only response was well never had an issue with other rentors and they would see if handyman could fix it, however it wouldn't be fixed before we left. No discount was offered and it should have been checked before checkin!!!! We really just easted our money!! The house was clean but the upstair pillows smelled like cat or dog pee. The porch was nice but the mosquitos would not allow you to enjoy it. The neighbors grass was out of control so it but a damper on the view.
