Welcome to Astro’s Dogwood Cabin, your cozy home-away-from-home in the pines with air conditioning and heating!

Step inside to vaulted ceilings with exposed beams and a sunlit living room centered around a beautiful wood-burning stove. Curl up on the comfy sofa, enjoy a movie night on the Smart TV, or share meals at the dining table for six.

The kitchen and dining area flow together seamlessly, and on the main level you’ll also find a full bathroom plus two queen bedrooms. Upstairs awaits your private retreat: a spacious primary suite with a king bed and full bath.

Enjoy the fresh mountain air on the wraparound deck that spans two sides of the house — the perfect spot for coffee in the morning or stargazing at night.

Summer Fun: Guests have access to the neighborhood Recreation Center with pools, tennis, basketball, playground, picnic area, snack shack, swim lessons, and occasional family fun nights.

Winter Adventures: Just 20 miles from Bear Valley Ski Resort — a local favorite for snow sports and alpine fun.

This cabin is ideal for family getaways, couples’ retreats, or small groups seeking both relaxation and adventure.

A rental agreement will be sent to guests once booking has been confirmed. Please be sure to read house rules.

Pets: Up to 2 well-behaved dogs (over 1 year old) are welcome with a $50 fee. Please include them in your booking notes. Dogs must not be left unattended.

Age Requirement: Primary renter must be at least 25 years old.

Check-in: You’ll receive your personalized check-in instructions with access code 2–4 days before arrival (please check your spam/junk folder).

The cabin was very nice and provided us with everything we needed. The property management did mot communicate with us. They did not return our calls or text. I feel bad for owners, because it is a very nice place.

Everything was amazing! The only thing missing was a big pot to cook pasta and potatoes in and bbq tools. We couldn’t use the fire pit (no propane). The pool facilities were nice. BBQ-ing on the back and looking at the meteor shower was great! Thank you for sharing your cabin with us. Sherry

Great cabin, great time. When we arrived the cabin smelled strongly of smoke (someone had lit a fire?). The property manager helped us get the smell out quickly and we had a great week.

A ski weekend stay with teens

Everything was as described. The cabin was perfect for our family ski trip. It only took 25 minutes to get to Bear Valley. The property manager was very prompt in responding to questions. The check-in and check-out process was seamless. We will be returning!

Arnold cabin

For the first time in Arnold, I was very impressed with this cozy beauty of a cabin, dog friendly and my kids loved it. We will be booking this place for every ski week trip.

Cute Cabin

Cabin was super cute and updated with a nice layout, areas for family to hang out and cook. Parking was easy as well and location was perfect for us. The only negative was that the house was not fully cleaned, we arrived to dog paw prints all over the downstairs hall, dog hair through the bedrooms like they hadn’t been vacuumed, no trash cans in the bathrooms or towels upstairs in the primary bath, dirty kitchen utensils and counter tops. Made us a little leary of how clean everything else was when seeing that. The house itself was very cute though.
