Perfect house for our long weekend getaway

We planned our weekend stay in Okoboji to get away from the City and relax by the water. The house was in a perfect location. We walked everywhere, enjoyed time by the water and even rented a boat for the afternoon. The house was a perfect base for our activities. We enjoyed all the natural light and especially the patio for morning coffee and maybe an afternoon glass of wine.

Perfect family stay!

Overall this was an amazing place to stay! We will definitely choose this location again in the near future! Perfect area to allow our 5, 7, and 8 year olds to ride bike and scooters to and from the park across the street at Bridges Bay, around the block, and to the water park. We had great family bike rides and walks. Yard games were also available! Board games were even available, perfect for evening wind down. Had a Wal Mart delivery order placed and delivered by the time we arrived and unpacked. Great condo, nice linens, towels, dishes. So nice to have a washer and dryer available! Loved our stay!

Great stay. Very affordable! Yearly trip to the lakes and the 1st time in a VRBO. Much better living accommodations than multiple motel rooms. Host was awesome to work with from reservations to check out. Very responsive throughout the whole process. Home was fully equipped to meet all our needs in the kitchen and bathroom!! Highly recommend if you are considering!

Great location with perks

Initially we had issues entering the property and accessing the internet, but the host (Brady) was very responsive and sent over his realtor to assist us. Since the property was recently sold, there were a few other hiccups such as no toliet paper or paper towels but luckily there were places nearby to purchase. The biggest issue during our stay was the loose and leaking toilet that required a plunge after every flush. Perks: The place came with 6 daily swimming passes at the main bridges bay accessible by giving your cabin number at the main entrance. Note, The pools do close if deemed to hot for the lifegaurds which is in no way a fault of the host. Overall the place was cozy, comfortable, and was in a convenient location. I really enjoyed my stay.

Overall great stay!

Perfect location and setup for our family of 4! Property was clean, check-in was easy and communication with property manager was quick! The only drawback was the difficulty of the toilet flusher and it wasn’t very secured to floor-still worked just fine and Brady was quick to respond. Overall our stay was great and we’d definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay because of how close it was to the pools and restaurants and lake activities. The proximity to Arnold’s Park was a major plus for the kids. The cabin had everything we needed for the weekend!

We had a family gathering at Lake Okoboji. We rented Brody’s cabin for 3 night. When choosing a VRBO my top two must-haves are a comfy bed and a clean place. Reviews are very important to me. Brady’s place hit both of those with 5-STARS!!! Place was beautiful. Beds were great, everything was clean and kitchen was well stocked. I also loved that the VRBO was bright and well lit. Big patio doors brought in natural light. Bathroom was bright and roomy. Would definitely recommend this place to others. Brady was also very quick to respond, which we really appreciated.

Great Location and Communication

Cabin 7 was a great little cabin perfect for our family! The kids used the 2 twin room and the king bed was SO COMFORTABLE we slept like rocks each night! The AC worked great (it was quite hot outside that week). We did have some hiccups. First the dryer did not work and we were coming on the 2nd week of a 2 week trip so we really were relying on the cabin having a working washer and dryer. Second, the owner communicated to us when we checked in that the oven/stove didn't work forcing us to have to eat out! The owner was very apologetic and did get the oven fixed halfway through and we were able to eat in the cabin. The owner made sure we were completely satisfied thought the whole process. I can't say enough about how well the owner communicated with us through the whole stay. Also, the location is so close to the waterpark, you can't beat it! We will definitely book here again!
