Convenient and clean very well maintened. Cleaning crew was efficient on prompt. Only challenge the bathroom doors were difficult to shut and the mosquito barrier did not work.
Excellent Condo, convenient location to South Slope breweries and downtown Asheville. Condo was clean and had all the amenities. Check-in, parking and communication were great! Couple of issues that were not a big deal, one bedroom does not have an exterior window, fine if you want it super dark. Second is the road noise which comes and goes. Not a big deal, but may be annoying to light sleepers.
this is a beautiful condo with views of the mountains and a very pretty outdoor deck, where i loved having coffee and drinks. hereâs the downside, there is an after hours club next door that opened at 11pm and closed around 3am. The patrons partied inside and outside this club and there was loud music. the owner called regarding a noise ordinance but it did not help. My husband and i had to sleep in the guest bed which was actually too small for us so we slept separately and he took one for the team with the noise and moved to the primary bedroom one night. This noise continued every night and all weekend. There is nothing an owner could do about this and even gave us a number to call to complain when the noise began. We go to be early, so if you do too, then i donât think calling at midnight and complaining about noise is going to give a vacationer peaceful sleep.
but i thought vacationers should know in advance that this club will ruin your restful nights sleep. btw, im originally a manhattenite, and used to loud noises
We really enjoyed hanging out on the outdoor patio with warm heaters - Mornings with coffee and evenings with wine/beer. It is definitely noisy as other reviewers said, but with proximity to downtown it is what we would have expected and didnât not take away from our stay. We loved that we could walk everywhere we wanted to go and the view of the mountains from the apartment is lovely. We did have issues with the ceiling fan making a lot of noise the first night but the management sent someone to fix it and it worked perfectly the second night.
My husband and I stayed at this property for four days. It was a perfect location to be able to walk to restaurants in Asheville, beds were very comfortable and everything was spic and span. The only downside is that this particular condo was on a very busy street. Consequently, the loud noise from the traffic constantly moving along the street made it unpleasant to sit on the porch.
Superb location. Very safe with multiple codes to enter. Clean. Modern.
Impressed with all the extras provided and a special notebook to help understand how to use them!
Thank you for allowing pets too - we appreciate all the extra touches ~ especially the balcony!
Everything was great! Condo was just as advertised, and porch is huge! Walking distance to so many places. Street noise from the porch was the only reason I gave the location 4 stars. Very much enjoyed our stay!
Our stay was very nice. The place was clean and ready when we arrived. Parking was simple (enter the garage BEHIND the building). The deck is very spacious and has heaters and a fan. Coffee was provided (note it is grounds, not K-cups).
The best part is the location. We wanted to be close to downtown but also near the south slope breweries. This place was perfect. We walked everywhere, even a Tourists game which was basically across the street. Everything we wanted was close by.
Some minor complaints are that there are three TVs in the house but we only found two remotes, one of which had corroded batteries in it. The ice maker in the refrigerator did not work, but there was ice in the freezer tray. The bathroom door in the master bedroom is a pocket door. The door is quite heavy and difficult to slide as there is not a handle. It is also warped or uneven so it does not latch all the way shut. There was a motion light in one of the master bedroom closets that seemed to always be on. There are blackouts curtains in the condo but it can still get pretty bright in the morning as it faces mostly east. It is located on a busy street (with a hospital located down about a mile) so it can get pretty noisy, especially in the master bedroom. It was never too noisy to impact our sleep but a light sleeper could have a tough time.
Those complaints are very minor and did not negatively impact our stay at all. We would absolutely stay there again.
Communication from VRBO and the property management prior to our stay was prompt and in depth. The property was clean upon arrival and online photos were accurate. The oversized balcony was the highlight of this property, an oversized outdoor gathering spot that was utilized everyday of our stay. The only negative (and this does NOT outweigh the positives) was that the unit faced the busy street and there was a lot of noise from both traffic and pedestrians.
Great property in a prime location. Clean property and very comfortable floor plan. Two issues to note. Parking situation is not ideal. Large vehicles either trucks or SUV cannot park I the one assigned space. Second issue is the noise level of vehicles and sirens on Biltmore Ave especially at night. Great patio and well furnished, could use an ice maker.
Lovely new property in the heart of the city. Clean, roomy, quiet from neighbors (some street noise expected in center city). Would be great if more parking was closer and accessible but easy Uber pickup. Hope to stay here again!
Great property and location! Enjoyed walking 'everywhere'!
Thanks for sharing...
We could never figure out the ice maker, but aside from that was wonderful.
It was a lovely condo. The only negative was the noise from the street, no ice in the freezer and my friends TV in the master did not work the last couple of days!
This is a great property that is in a great location. The property is in great shape with practically everything you need. We enjoyed it so much we rebooked for December. The only drawback is parking. The one assigned parking spot is not large enough for large vehicle (full size truck, Yukon XL, Suburban) especially if another large vehicle is parked next to spot which was the case. Fortunately the property manager gave us another parking spot to use. Walking a short distance to breweries is a plus. The location is overlooking Biltmore Ave so there is some traffic noise. The outdoor seating area of condo is spacious and provides some great outdoor experiences with a ceiling fan for the summer and heaters for the fall / winter.
Clean property and great location. Some issuesâŠbroken ice machine, spotty Wi-Fi, pretty noisy and the garage was quite cramped. Overall it was fine and got the job done.
