This place is absolutely fabulous! Very clean, cosi and welcoming. The house is equipped with everything necessary and is very toddler friendly. Location great. Hosts were very courteous and responded quickly to texts.
We had a great stay at Ruby Lodge! The house is clean, comfortable and exactly as pictured. Beautiful backyard and spacious kitchen add a nice touch. And only 10 mins to the entrance of Mt. Ranier. Highly recommend
We stayed at this property for the convenience of traveling into Mt Rainier National Park the next day.
The cabin was comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked which made it easier to prepare meals. I did bring groceries from home as nearby selections were limited.
Nice stay. Need to update exterior property photos as there are now cabins on both sides, making it not as open as shown. Great location to the park and great dining options.
Very nice stay. Loved the home and the outdoors. Were visited my deer and geese by the pond, host were helpful. Tons of room in the home. Very inviting bedrooms and family room.
this was a cute place. the inside was nice. had everything we needed. hot tub was nice and clean. loved the duel head shower.the backyard didn't receive the same care as inside. the adonodick chairs and wooden table were falling apart. the backyard wasn't mowed and covered in geese poop.the closest proper grocery store is in Eatonville.
Totally planning on staying here again loved the place. Other then a tree knocking down a power pole and missing some of football sunday haha. Jokes aside kitchen had everything and the bed is super comfy and the pullout was was great for lounging and watching tv 10/10
Very clean with comfortable beds. Deer in the backyard and when it got chilly inside, the wall-mounted heaters worked quickly to make it comfortable. Nice dual head shower with lots of water pressure. Location was convenient to our needs like Ashford grocery store, the Copper Creek restaurant and the Park trails.
Only 3 negatives: 1. The hot tub was set at a low temp that we think is about 100 deg. We have a hot tub and are pretty good at judging water temperature. Our anticipated soak after a long hike was not very satisfactory. 2. a BBQ was advertised but when we got there a burn ban was in effect. We had to cook our steaks inside but there was no broiler pan among the supplied cooking stuff. 3. Netfiix was advertised so we made some plans on what to watch in the evenings. However none of the "Profiles" would work. All gave the same error message and locked up the TV so we had to unplug and go back and try again. I complained giving the error messages using the Betterstay app as directed and unexpectedly, they answered by email. I didn't see the answer until the next day. Anyway, the Profiles disappeared and we were left with no Netflix. The answer we got said they tried the Profiles and they all worked. I am skeptical of that answer because that would require remotely logging directly into a smart TV to do this. That I don't think is possible.
Finally, would we go back? Yes, location is perfect.
My family and I really enjoyed our stay at the little red cabin, it was very clean and convenient with two little ones! It had a very spacious yard and the open floor plan for perfect for our little ones to play!
bad maintenance, betterstay is not a good solution
the property need maintenance. the bathroom fan doesn't work, so the hallway smoke alarm goes off if you take even a short shower. The hot tub is dirty and doesn't get hot. the flooring has gaps in it and the paint is yellowing and is marked up everywhere. Its a cute building in a beautiful spot. Betterstay is a bad experience and a frustrating overlay to a usually good VRBO experience.
We really enjoyed our stay here! Loved the decor and the beds were very comfy. We only had a few notes on things like cleanliness and broken furniture (an easy fix if there would have been basic tools available).
Dogs are welcome here, which is wonderful, but there was quite a lot of dog hair present in one of the beds, which made us feel like the sheets weren't changed. We just did that ourselves. The fridge/freezer also had dog hair in it (which wasn't very clean besides the dog hair). The oven was also dirty. Not disgustingly so, but still.
There's no fan in the bathroom, but there is a small window. Not really an option to leave it open if needed in February, it's too cold.
Upon arrival, the code to the door didn't work. As they say themselves, cell coverage isn't the best out there. We had to drive into "town" in order to contact them. They had changed the code to the door 45 minutes before check-in, but the emails prior to our stay all had the previous code. That was pretty frustrating, though the company was able to give us the right code within about 10 minutes and we headed back.
Even with the things mentioned, we'd still stay here again.
We enjoyed our stay at this cute little cabin. A comfortable space, on the lovely little pond, with the nearby lake, river and hiking trails, it is a perfect place to enjoy all that Paradise offers. Communication was great and check-in was really easy. We look forward to returning.
Relaxing stay despite the rain. Enjoyed the coffee and extra condiments. The hot tub was awesome and the close proximity to the National Park was an extra bonus.
We had a nice stay in this comfortable home. Lots of provisions and a short drive to Mt. Rainier National Park. An added bonus was the family of deer who visited the backyard one morning.
