I booked a King Suite with a Hot Tub at the Knights Inn Ashland via Hotels.com. When I arrived at 2:00 AM, the check-in process was confusing; the staff member seemed new or unsure of the procedure.
The first room I was given was not what I bookedâit lacked the hot tub and was not clean. I was moved to a second room, but it had two queen beds instead of the King I paid for. Exhausted and needing sleep before the 11:00 AM checkout, I gave up on trying to get the correct room.
Beyond the room discrepancies, there were several maintenance and amenity issues:
âą No Room Phone: There was no phone in the room, so I had to use my personal cell to call the front desk.
âą Missing Items: Despite booking a smoking room, no ashtrays were provided.
âą Maintenance: The bathroom vent was completely non-functional.
I am very disappointed that I didn't receive the specific room type or the functional amenities I paid for. Especially when it was $117.73 including taxes and protection plan
