When checking in the host was very friendly. It was great to have a beautiful veiw of the slopes from the hotel. The evening wine and cheese was a pleasent suprise. It was nice to gave a simple system of keys to access the rooms. It was peaceful.

We enjoyed our stay here so much. It felt like we were staying at a warm family home. We had a beautiful made to order omelet breakfast each morning. Wine & cheese served in the early evenings in the living area. The guests were all wonderful and friendly, staff was always helpful and accommodating. Room is clean and comfortable. Its not fancy, its quality. It's more of a 1980's to 1990's vibe. So special. We could walk to every place in Aspen, theres slso a free shuttle to take you further out like Aspen Highlands, Maroon Bells, Snowmass etc. If we ever come back to Aspen, we'll stay here.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a long weekend and our stay was amazing! The rooms are clean, comfortable, and quiet. Location was super convenient to aspen mountain, bus stops for other sites, and aspen town. There was fresh breakfast every morning which was a huge perk. Lastly, the service was amazing! Everyone we met was so friendly and helpful. Would absolutely stay again.

The family at Hearthstone House is just the best. They were so kind and welcoming, felt like staying at a relative's home. Breakfast and cheese plates make a great start to the day and afternoon adventures. Check out was a breeze, we even forgot some jewelry items behind and they called us ASAP for the return. We will be back!

Convenient stay in Aspen for skiing

Hotel was clean and comfortable, and a short walk to the restaurants, as well as the ski rental shops, and the bus stop for getting to the other mountains and the airport. It is possible to walk to Ajax, although it would be several blocks with your skis on your shoulder.
